Shopping CartRiddler9290: I work 60 hours with kids and only have a few hours a month to play. I don't care about cosmetics or how hard the game is. Its fun, I have fun, I don't live on the internet.
dmcry_gaming: It’s incredible how some people still defend this game as if it had great content, when since the beginning of Year 2 we’ve been doing the exact same things over and over again — the same bosses, nothing new to do. The so-called Faction Wars
meangreengaming90: I choose the blue side solely off the color I love the blue color scheme and notice I now have a small blue flag flying from my ships
pauliusvasiliauskas5678: Faction wars is a joke, there's nothing to it at all. They have 90% if their resources on cosmetics.
Dabergyt: I'd rather it be too easy than too difficult. The thing is after 2000 hours of hard work, I like being able to build a God mode ship that defeats enemies easily. When I want a challenge I start with a new build and work my way up with a new build.
justinrivera1603: I feel like you’re worrying about yourself because you think you’re too good at this game and I’m a be honest. Nobody is good at this game. They’re just here to have fun. You don’t take the game serious. No games are serious. Don’t take it serious man.
andybrown4284: You get 400 for the pvp cargo runs and 2-8 for ships and the games somehow claiming that 5 million have been earned between two factions over two zones.
I can only assume that the numbers given for each faction started at a base level of 1 million each as there's no way with under a day on the patch being live that the numbers add up.
supremeboy: o7 Death
Regarding difficulty of bosses in current live version. I did sent feedback to Ubisoft early testing that new Deadly Le Peste is bit too easy. Seems they didnt do nothing when it went live.
I do remember feedback of the Peste poison aoe was bit overtuned due to the peste prince spawning around the forts. He spammed that aoe too often and it was to accurate. They nerfed that not long ago but now also removed Deadly Le peste aoe poison and instead giving you poison debuff stack. In a game combat point of view it makes sense to have control and if you dont remove stacks you will die (max i got was 5 stacks on frigate).
The aoe poison removal is actually good thing because they couldnt bring the new poison gun or bow guns like flamethrower ect to be viable because its basically melee range combat. But i think the poison dots should do more damage faster than currently is if not removed fast.
The mechanic changed but the poison debuff is not really dangerous thats the problem in live. Apart the stamina drain but thats not problem.
a.m.pierce2811: If you treat the contested areas like empire expansion it would be great. But, if it starts out a Dutch settlement, for example, have a 5 pvp with 3 spots for DMC captains and 2 for French. For spots with neither loyalty, 3v3. And if there are no opposing forces, use the bots as in the cargo challenges. The land based defenses would only fire on those who dont hold the territory. I think it would be more fun than the current setup.
JazzSteppDansare43: hi death i would like to ask them when the land combat, officer system and zombies and reputation system are coming, cause it was supposed to come in season 3 according to the year 2 showcase video
can you pls ask them that from me?
ianwalls4976: I've put in 2 bug reports today alone . 1.Wolven hollow . 2.Vikram deadly . Both are bugged . Top map french are already 2.4 million ahead . How are we supposed to bring that back
chasehellschylde2707: DMC, I earned the sloop of war. The plating is always a pain.
theredgem: Along with the other issues mentioned it drives me nuts that there's no living narrative for the Faction War whatsoever. We logged in on day 1 and there were two red zones. Why? Yes I know WHY but why those zones? And what is the objective there? Jesus - how hard is it to create a track that follows war progress. total lost opportunity. Why not a tier of narrative events. Week 1 - there are no zones red or blue - its total chaos just sink ships and plunder forts - special quests/secret missions to gather inormation, negotiate with secondary leaders (sea peoples etc..). Week 2 - the narrative in the first week leads to the two territories - at the end of this week there are PVP and PVE variants of massive sea battle around Baxio Grande or whatever - after this event is live for 48 hours there's a tally. The territory tally and the event tally combine to determine who is the winner for that week. Week 3 now we're fighting for real stakes - control of a fort; the winning side this week gains the fort and so on with real stakes, real progress, a real sense of community and warfare
deadeyetopher8621: Introduce clans, create a world 3 for hard-core clan play with clan benefits. This way, people who dont like playing groups can get everything solo and casual. But there are grinders who love pvp in large groups and create an option for both types. Food for thought
realnessie: All you bang on about is what YOU want ,and that you want more PvP ,you're like a broken record , this isn't a game made just for you .
kyleobrien632: Please please increase the ship hold from 50 and also the wearhouse 500 is far to little for the new extensions on the armours
justinrivera1603: I missed on the stream, but I’m arguing with you and having this good conversation with you right now
x_quinn_x9179: I think you are right… Major content should be available to all world tiers, with rewards scaled to those tiers. When it comes to bosses, there should be en emphasis on planning the attack by choosing the right equipment and armour, with it mattering more to higher level versions of bosses than lower level versions... Positioning and awareness should also follow this idea.
For this game though, the developers have kind of stuffed themselves into a corner that they don't know how to get out of yet... They want players to engage with content, and from my own experience it was very hard to find groups for bosses in both world tiers… Especially La Peste, and that was due a lot to having low player counts. So them nerfing it makes a weird kind of sense, but I don't feel like it is the right way to handle it.
Personally I prefer bosses and content seem hard because you need to plan, but to not actually be hard if you have planned, while also offering a version that is hard even with perfect planning, which should have been this mythic version but done in an instance like the mega fort has.
I also think Faction Wars, while promising, and we have only just started it so maybe it will get better, was not what they should have focused on. From the reactions to the road map earlier this year, the most anticipated things were the large ships, the hunting revamp, and the on foot gameplay. The Hunting and on foot gameplay interest I feel really shows that players want a lot more immersive elements to the game, especially on foot. At the moment the walking around ports and even your character feel like an extra edition to the game instead of being the centre of what the experience should be, and this in part is because we don't do anything important on foot. The on foot combat fixes this as it makes being on foot an actual part of the gameplay and progression, bringing importance to your character and their equipment and getting players to invest in them in a more immersive way.
It is hard for the Devs since the game was and will always be compared to a 12 year old game in black flag, that had all the immersive elements this game needs. Actual ship boarding, being able to walk around your ship by just letting go of the wheel, and then jump off the side and swim to the nearby island. Even just having the diving bell gameplay added to Skull and Bones where you sail your ship to a sunken ship or other diving spot and go down and search for treasure, maybe find an underwater cave with some enemies to fight on foot in it would be an incredible edition for that more immersive gameplay and character focus.
We have tried more of the same for the last 5 or 6 seasons, and faction wars is more of the same. What people were excited for was something different and more. Something that made their character relevant and more the focus of the game. Even revamped hunting would have been something different to do... Atm we are just sailing, or fast travelling, around doing what we have done since the beginning, and adding more of it and expecting a different result seems very counterproductive... I don't see players wanting to come back and staying for that, and forget about new players...
LCInfantry: It’s been the first time I’ve ever did so many PvP events in one day, and it’s been exhilarating to think I can be attacked because I’ve literally never really done pvp.
The cargo transport thing should have more players or and be longer(multiple drop off, like a gamble, keep going further to increase rewards, or end early to get less rewards)…. But restrict the numbers of players that can join as long as it off by one or two. …. Meaning that one team can’t have more than 1 or 2 players more than the other team, it be reactive, so fairness can still be maintained between number of player ships.
Can even actually introduce a tank, healer, DPS(just 3 player versus 3 player), type thing with PvP so that all types of people can get enjoyment… like the “tank”(has to have particular class of ship to qualify) has to carry the cargo but is little slow.
The PvP needs to be open world, not restricted to one little zone. Like, make the thing to carry be across the map, hitting up these checkpoints along the way… the more checkpoints hit will have better rewards and greatest if one team managed to carry the cargo all the way…. Maybe make it like an overwatch(game) thing, where it’s an NPC ship that moves like a tug of war…
andili6516: Hi, I am missing 9 marks for he new ships, but have the dx12 bug and cant play 2 days now. so its easy to get it. Lets hope they make a system like in div2. more wt3/4/5 and there we can make it harder with effects from npcs ships and weather effects for example.
mcdonell49: I believe they are making it easier to attract more players which means more money. Rather than harder and scarring away more players
gwarluvr: Faction wars - Make it how you want but do not do it like For Honor.
hour 2- that sounds like a raid
LCInfantry: Imagine if they introduced an ironclad…. Like an actual ironclad. It could be an American boss, lol
THATFORDDUDE: What kills it for me is when it says for me to defend the fort and as I’m there fighting the enemy ships the fort I’m defending is targeting me and now I gotta dodge the very fort I’m protecting and fight the enemy ships .. how do you protect something that’s killing you ? Me and everybody I know that plays this is going through the same thing
deadeyetopher8621: My thinking is progressive war, with different stages . Remember there will be on land battles . It's the first week. Let's see after the 1st month!
