HistoryMonarch1999: I’ll be honest I got this game on sale cause it’s fine for short casual fun though I wish there were more like actual storyline stuff and at least some boarding action

wulfgar1345: We need substance not just grinds and rat races. Add walking around our ship. Above and below deck.

Add tomb raiding puzzles on foot to get treasure.

Or stealth missions to steal from locations.

Add deep diving.

Add something meaningful that makes the game feel like a pirate game and not a merchant simulator.

You promised us land combat. You gave it up along with officers to assassin's creed because its all that ubisoft care about. You owe us something meaningful something more than effectively nothing.

If this game doesn't address the lack of pirate content then it won't make it long and servers will shut down by year 5.

At a certain point you have to have some kind of motive to indulge in all that. There isn't one. Likely will never BE one.

I LOVE THIS GAME but; It's a dead end, and they will reach a point where selling Halloween Costumes and Neon Sails will not pay the bills, and the servers won't be run anymore. This makes me sooo damn sad. There was a chance at greatness here and UBIsoft whiffed on it.

But as I was one of the OPEN Beta Players. And, I bought three copies for the family at the original price. I will play it to the end, and hope to be the last one to leave the room when The Lights go Out.

Naviss: It's a fun game for what it is. Kinda like a looter shooter on the sea. Combat is arcady but enjoyable and so is crafting new gear. The game has come a long way since release and well worth a try.

Ronaldo-ss4qq: Kind of funny how Ubisoft waited until Windrose came out to make a black flag remaster and update skull and bones. Maybe if Ubisoft tried to give the players what they promised with Skulls and Bones from the start, instead of turning the game into World of Pirate ships; Ubisoft wouldn't have to worry about being out competed by indie studios with a 20th of the budget.
