epixkekw: Try this build but with the Basilisk 3s for innate pierce damage and weakpoint damage and the Crimson Lotus armor so when you use the crew attack you deal 33% more broadside weapon damage for 15s which works out since the Basilisk increases the "Vulnerable" status build up for more crew attacks by 50%. Can even do it with the Hullcarvers but you wouldn't be able to roll reload on the green slot. Would also have to swap the Devil's Concoction for High-Velocity Kegs or the Physician's Ledger for more secondary damage, or if you're having trouble staying close enough can roll the Strange Elixir for 25% longer crew attack range.

I have it with Basilisk 3s and one with Carronades, exactly same ascensions and its possible without the ramrod workshop, you still get no reload but yeah can't be done with purple cannons sadly. I never considered using these cannons, i will make this now thanks!

I'm still watching the 2017 trailer once in a while and thinking to myself what this game could've been. just day dreamin about THE immersive pirate game. But oh well, might as well play the game for the time being, since I got fooled BY MYSELF into buying it early access due to false hopes... very nice

NinjaPr3dator: Good morning Captain, unfortunately with these new modifiers—which on top of that can only be moved between weapons of the same category—I find making builds much, much more complex and monotonous. Having to find that specific modifier on the weapon you need, plus having the rerolls to max it out, is almost impossible with only 100 attempts. I must admit this update has disappointed me a bit.
