2ducksmind: I think this only works if you're low on expertise for the crafting skill because gaining level is much easier. I'm above 250 arcana and only got salt after earning an aptitude lvl.

guess199: If you do the infused alk in 200 batches you get more, about 1300 salt so it's better to do them in batches not all at once.

DarkBiCin: its a useful way to get salt.... if you have a lot of materials lying around. otherwise it can get pretty expensive to buy things to do this or take a lot of time. but it is useful and I completely for got about it when leveling my trade skills RIP.
