Bad luck or just bad management?

Ugotsomemilk: I get why you would give the publishing to a company, that has the money and is in the market, you want to expand to. But Amazon went in blindly with ONLY money and thought, they could conquer gaming, like they did with logistics and online retailing. Its basically giving publishing rights to a bank: They have the money to do it, but 0 knowledge whats actually important. I think its nowadays easier to publish abroad, because a certain infrastructure oudside big publishers is there. Probably wasnt there before and maybe even during Covid.
