phonk_val: Bro all that needs to be shown is - just point anyone at the Stoopzz' stream. This guy streams under lost ark category all the time and he NEVER EVER plays the game, EVER. And he's also one of the people who promote the "no-alt-required" approach to the game. He doesn't want to play the game and thinks that it's ok to only have 3 hours per week of meaningful gameplay, because dude, you need the characters not to "make gold" in the first place, you need them to be able to extend your playtime to AT LEAST like 10-15 hours per week. I am tired of seeing these people who don't want to play the game talking about the game and directions and what is good or bad for the game. Several of my friends who tried lost ark in the past few years quit for the sole reason of "having nothing to do" with only 1 char. You ABSOLUTELY need at least 6 characters to play, and they all need massive investments or else all you're gonna have access to is solo mode or normal mode jail lobbies.

dancehands2: I agree with you about all of this. Been saying this to friends for years about this game. Sadly, I kind of just hit a limit with all this nonsense. The told us months/years ago they would start getting balance patches out quickly for us after KR gets them (something along that lines). And it just hasn't happened. Let alone things just not getting updated until WAY too late. Sad cause I really enjoy the raiding aspect of this game, but the RNG and terrible decision-making by the people in charge continuously is just sad. I've had enough and quit right on the spot. I can say, only addicts or whales left playing this game but no one else. I still watch Mr4K content from time to time even though I quit this game because 4K addresses the issues unlike other content creators who only say "its fine" and "best update ever" all the time for every single little update they get in this game.

If you are wondering what games I play now? I went back to Clash of Clans and play Umamusume: Pretty Derby as these games are much better than Lost Ark because they listen to their community and update instantly and I'm sure a lot of people also quit Lost Ark and went back to their old games or play the new and popular games on steam.

S3DZY: I got to the point where, I got sick and tired of hearing and seeing the whole EOS thing. Its frustrating because how can something as good as this game also be managed so badly. You would think that they would realize that they have something story wise and gameplay wise can rival other games on a more dominant level if they actually gave a shit and put real effort into it. It might seem to be abit of a stretch but just imagine they made an animated series based on LA story that could legit rival and potential blow Riot game ARCANE out of the water. I will never understand why they delay important QOL and Balance patches that are crucial to the game for everyone's enjoyment and just to ease things.

Smilegate have the money, but for some reason they just want more out of pure greed. Do they not realise that they can make much much more the more players they have playing their game? Why is that so hard to understand? And all of the changes they do make that actually make the game "Better" those changes come way too late for it to even be beneficial or impactful.

And now there is a soft reset at 1730 that legit makes 0 sense. Which means most of us who care about our main six roster will have to hone to 1730 regardless on weather we like it or not. Which means we will spend a stupendous amount of gold to get there just for our gear to get reset anyway. How does this even make any sense. Ontop of that you have Ark Grid which is a super gold sink layered with rng upon rng upon rng. Its no wonder we are bleeding players, and its no wonder we see and hear people chant about EOS. Its sad.

Its like being in a relationship with the girl of your dreams, she has everything you want the personality and everything, but you as a person fuck that relationship up by being a real asshole, a dumbass and to treat her badly and then come back and say "sorry" for your bad actions and promise to get betters. Thats legit Lost Ark.

as for the reset

i think the reset material is the 2/2 you see on the chart

the material that allows you to "ascend" the gear is from hard mode

this material allows you to hone the new gear from 20 to 25

we will for sure find out once korea gets the raid

but if the gear reset is 1730 that makes it 20 and 40AH

which isn't "too bad" but it's really high for alts

previous resets were on 18/19 and didn't have AH as a requirement

as example brel v1 was 16 i think even for g1-2

akkan was 19

t4 was 19

ie this has 40 AH and is 20 normal which is pretty rough

that being said we are infinite time in this bracket too so there is also that

but then again also there are all the other systems we had to do on top so it's not only honing

we will see how it turns out

if the reset is unironically 1730 it's gonna murder any possibility a new player can ever come back to the game and catch up

AKASupertigra: On the very beginning when i play on Korea with all this islands , Island Sets , Guardian Sets , even Crafting Sets game really feels alive and like a real adventure. I also like Raids especially at the very beginning, But now this is not real mmorpg that we see at the beginning this is more like a lobby raid simulator this is goood for content and for content creators (oh yes new Raid bla bla bla HYPE HYPE) but i personally dont really like it , this is just turned into a different game.
