xeikai: As much as lost ark gets right. Their monetization is insidious as it prays on you being left out. Can't raid with your friends unless you're the appropriate item level. Swipers inflating the gold market which means your stones and accessories are going to be VERY hard to get normally. I dunno what the book market looks like now but anything that's worth anything is going to be inflated to hell and back due to bots and swipers facilitating those bots. Also, the content in this game is fucking hard, which means players will not give you a chance to join a pug.

If you dont know the fight, forget getting into a raid, unless you have swiped and overgear it by a shit ton. even then if you don't know what you're doing your dead weight, learning this game is hard cause of the difficulty of the raids and no opportunity to learn. Now, he does say you can play this game without swiping, and it's true you can. However you can ONLY play this game, it's a job, if you want maximum income you must run your main and alts though all possible content to earn the gold cap on each one. i think you're allowed 5 per account. And lets not forget if you wanna sell anything on the market you need those stupid items off the cash shop. It's not worth it, the major culprite of the problems this game faces is the bots, they ruin it as without the bots it would actually be a great economy.
