m.m85434: I stopped raiding and basically playing almost month ago, because I was tired of never ending grind for very small progress which was relevant just for short time till new grind for new system started again... and honestly I do not miss lost ark. I thought I will take 1-2 weeks pause and be ready to play again, but nope... I am day one player in West with ungodly hours in game and I think it was enough for me. I enjoy much more playing different games or simply do whatever I want instead of dedicate half of evenings to game which I did not really enjoy for some time already.

Cascada200: I’m sad to say, but I finally put my Foot down once Kazeros released here in the West. I just had this overwhelming feeling to not log on and prog the new raid. Therefore, I uninstalled and moved on to other games that I’m enjoying :).

Gold River could communicate like no other and that helped a lot, but what I think made LOA great during his lead was his decision to cut down on p2w and predatory monetization in favour of gameplay and pro-player decisions.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't he say he'd cut his revenue by up to 27% in order to make the game more welcoming torward new/returning and casual players?

Still love Lost Ark for the combat and raid but it is at the point looking elsewhere seems better especially with the Arkgrid system. I am not gonna spend time to play 24 slot machines so yeah good luck. Tbh I dont have a lot of hope in this LOAON cuz it is too late at this point and Aion 2 is capturing the market now even though the p2w in Aion 2 is also terrible.

kappakapp: Still funny to me to see ppl glaze GR. Sure he communicated better but every single problem with loa (except grid ofc) was started with him in charge. hell, he even refused to do 3x cubes cuz "rewards are too good". He might have been better at communicating but that's about it.

robin2thek: The main content are raids. The problem is that they are too hard and no one has time to learn them unless you nolofe the game. Valtan was so good. Solo raids are good for the game. But the game takes too much time.

shinon7956: True, I really can't recommend Lost Ark to my friends, they know the raid is fun but only me returned and play again, but even me with 1690 5x 1580 rosters, it's very hard to catchup, everything costs gold and each of them are expensive. I can't believe it made me have to take a break again after only returned for 2 months lol, game is really just that bad for non-spenders and new/returned players.

Shame they made the game unenjoyable. Lost Ark is dead the moment Gold River stepped out of the game.
