nidus4588: Im a returning player and ive been playing the game for about a month now, so heres my recap:

The game is fun until you start doing group content. once you get there, you very quickly realize how toxic the community actually is. for whatever reason, new and returning players arent welcome at all. you end up wasting a ton of time just trying to get into a raid, only for the group to disband after one or two pulls...

Because of that, im quitting and probably wont be touching the game again

I did enjoy the solo modes though, especially for getting a feel for the combat and learning some of the mechanics. the horizontal content is also pretty fun if youre into collecting stuff and doing small puzzles. the world looks great, and the classes are genuinely top tier

But at the end of the day, this is an mmo, and if you dont already have people to play with, i honestly wouldnt recommend it. especially with this community, which feels very hostile toward new players

to wrap it up, shoutout to defild and the other content creators who actually try to help newcomers

the cost and time you need to play the game is not worth your investment

wait until the game fix some stuff or add stuff to help new players really really play the game without having to deal with toxic players ( that happen when you are aka noobs or new player - they dont want to carry new player without benefit and if you get carried you will not really get something from it aka learn the raid for real )

ImDefild is kinda baiting other into joining the game ( i respect that he want new players to join us ingame but right now how the game and player deal with new player is not encouraging to let you or someone friend to join the game at the moment )

anyway anyway we dont force you to play the game , you are free to have fun whatever you want , or maybe you have a True friend that can carry you all the way with his money or whatever he can do ,

but if you are a solo player your life ingame will be like hell mode trying to play the game alone ( and trust me its not worth your time or investment )

this game has the same setting as other gasha game ( if you missed a week [not opening the game] you lose alot and i mean alot for real )

so it kinda force you into playing ( its not an issue until you have 6 characters for daily earn or even more character if you pay for them )

long story short > dont play lost ark for now not worth it

VinsLeMans: My answer is no. Game has become extremely alt-unfriendly and SG wants you to play more characters only if you enjoy doing so. That sounds good until you realise that you do need alts to funnel your main or you’ll be forever an average joe never to be competitive (and I don’t mean Esther level competitive but in Season 2 I had my main full gem 10 and never spent a dime) Now considering where the game is going that is almost impossible. Good luck finishing relic books and your gems10 with bound gold and mats worth nothing

Yujie_ko: IMO its still p2progress not p2w, there is nothing realy you can pay for that f2p players can't get and this game is a play together not against (what the most do with there gatekeeping xd) if someone is willing to pump much money into the game.. its good cause you could end up with him in a raid what mostly does make it easyer to clear cause if his high dmg (if he is good and not death in the first minute).

p2w is for me something you cant get for free and gives you advantage over other player in pvp scenario's but this game is mostly pve

GallusAnonymus94: Man... this game is dead... 10k player per day. There is no point to do early game content. Now we have lost ark pass which skip all early game content by one click. They just introduced cheats to skip all early game content like rapport system and raids. This is not the way.. All they had to do was reduce the numbers. Allow people to raid solo. Cut the rapport system requirements in half. Give higher gold rewards. Rework the time gates and gate keeping. But they didn't feel like balancing each system individually, so they preferred to add a cheat. I'd gladly return to the game, but I see that Abyss Dungeons and Abyssal Raids are impossible to do at the beginning of the game because no one goes to them. The same goes for Guardian Raids. This game is nonsense now. They should make Lost Ark 2 or start new server with changed everything. Full wipe.

nikosgavrilidi4923: Let me explain you why nobody likes new players, from a perspective of a veteran player. Every single time i have to restart the raid (Aegir HM for example) its always the same people, low roster players that only play solo (which i can clearly identify just by looking at their uwuowo). And the thing is, I am very tolerant to people who made a mistake, and just say "sorry mb", but the problem is, vast majority of those people not doing "mistakes" they clearly don't know what to do AT ALL. They dont type clock/figures, they don't know on what possition to stay even if you PINGING THEM RIGHT IN THEIR FACE, they cant do counter/wheel on g2, all they doing is just standing like AFK NPC with no responding in the chat. So i want this players, to make their own lobby, gather 8 AFK NPC like they are, and once in their life try to clear a single raid with their own hands instead of being constantly carried for free.

toml1882: Pretty sure that you lose mokoko status before 1699. Maybe closer to 1680ish?
