_gxo: This is the most beautiful mmo by far. Played it for a month in TW, now closing on a month in global and I still cant get over how unique and beautiful my character is. The world, creatures, pets, mounts, overall art design needs to win some award.

Shugo games are fun too.

Sadly that's about the only positive I have to say about it.

The game is extremely anti social:

1. During leveling, grouping up is not only completely unnecessary, but actively slowing you down and at times even not possible because of all the instancing.

2. Early game at max level is the one time when you can productively group up with your friends because everyone needs the same things and has the same 'resources'.

3. Then RNG and arbitrary limitations hit. Your friends drop the items they needed, you dont. They have enough score for next tier content, you dont. They get penalized for helping you catch up to them because now they either have to waste their odyle or get locked out of dungeons if they dont loot. The rng gets worse the further you go and the gap between you and your friends increases. It is objectively better to split and join random groups individually.

4. The gear requirements for each tier are so high that by the time you are able to do the content it is complete faceroll. Nobody tries to learn mechanics or attack patterns because you can just facetank them.

5. Now everyone wants 2 supports in the group because everyone thinks u are just meant to take hits and heal through them when in reality most content is doable with a single or even without a dedicated support.

6. Now it takes half an hour to an hour to make a group for a 5 minute dungeon run, because your support guildies/friends are either out of odyle or dont want to waste it on the dungeon you need.

7. The most baffling thing is the toxic community gatekeeping. Completely unreasonable combat score requirements for content that is already incredibly easy. Whether showing off how geared they are or making up for being bad at the game these ridiculous combat score expectations push people out of the game or into swiping to keep up.

8. And this is a game that has completely automated combat. Doesnt matter what class you are, the only thing you need to actively do is hold down the macro button, move your character and jump/dodge telegraphs. The only player 'skill expression' comes in the form of understanding what gear stats work best for your character and ordering your macro skills optimally. Both doable by just copy pasting and not understanding the game or your character at all.

Haru_no_ki: Aion 2 walks the same path as lost ark with the gatekeep.

Energy system shouldn’t be a thing, wings should be roaster wide and at least yellow gear skin acquisition to be guaranteed. 10% for skins is way to low especially that most of us don’t even dissolve the gear, we use it for something else because of the low % of getting the skin. They also need to react faster to community feedback, unlike Lost ark

StandardsFtw: Energy system low dungeon droprates are brutal. I like challenging content, but we saw with Lost ark that tying content with a chance of failure to necessary progression creates a shitty community. The content so far (even trans 4) in Aion 2 is mind-numbingly easy; can be done blind, min ilvl, probably first try. But people are still gatekeeping because there's a CHANCE of failure (DPS/stagger checks, limited revives now with hard mode dungeons, limited pulls with ludra coming up). First people were gatekeeping with combat power, now people are gatekeeping entire classes. And the game isn't even a month old.

The problem gatekeeping creates is that people always pull the ladder up behind them. As the gatekeepers increase in ilvl/combat power, their requirements for parties go up. Being a returning, new, or slower player becomes impossible, so the game will never increase in size, only decrease.

Personally speaking, the content and combat aren't good enough to justify this kind of shit anyways. Deus was the first dungeon I liked. Everything is mind-numbingly easy, some of the easiest I've ever played in an MMO. You can't have content that easy AND a macro that basically plays the game for you. There's no long lasting appeal for sweats there, only whales will stay.

markh4604: Game looks beautiful , combat is super chill and interesting even tough its easy with macro and the dungeons are fun . The energy system is so horrible i still cannot believe we have this sht . Having limited run /day , /week is just wtf moment . Dungeon droprates are so scarce i know for a fact it will make me quit the game soon . I did 2 weeks worth full cap of odyle in vakron - urugugu for full gear . With horrible rolls of course . Now as of today ( 2days from reset) i am already fully out of energy and i have 4 pieces from den- fire temple . Now i can go gather ? and log in every 1 hour ? or play alts even if i dont want to ? because that is the reality . Now i have 1 hour of solid content per day and thats it .

Crafting and gathering failing is wild also but maybe its ok since it gives BIS gear .

Other wtf moment is gatekeeping in dungeons like cmon you can do fire or den with a 90k group eazy . Last week req. was 100k , this week its 120k , guess next week we will have 140k lmao . But now people not only gatekeep by cp , but by classes . Like chanter-cleric gets into 140k groups with 80-90k xdd

Addition : PvP is also destined to die because every server is atleast 10% more asmo and you go to abyss as ely and get nuked . On top of that you get the whale pvp lords who just 1v10 ez . Melee - ranged also is giga diff in abyss . By the time you press your movement ability as melee you are erased by ranged from offscreen .

Asmo winning every time on siege is just a never ending spiral cuz they keep giga farming sigmas and pvp gear so as time goes on the difference becomes even greater

I'm not even gonna talk about monetization and systems here, people blasted T&L for the autoplay and I agree such thing should not exist in a game period, but no one is willing to do the same about Aion 2, there is auto travel and macros are literally automation people have like 10% agency over what they are doing if they are not using mouse scripts on top of in game macros. We all say that gameplay is king but for some reason Aion 2 is an exception. This is the double standards and glazing I hate in the content creator scene and its much more apparent in the korean games.

venranava949: Endgame in my opinion you need a sub just to keep up. 1 dungeon mechanic made me rage quit due to how it's counterintuitive to how I play. You use a wind current to go up but you aren't supposed to press w at all. I mean this games mechanics are so backwards at times that is great for mobile.

the world design is good the character editor is ok is not that good as BDO and Aion2 but it is much better as New World,but i want to see how CO is

No more waste my time for the game as a job, like in lost ark, did vykas until 3 pm then wake up at 6 am to prepare my real life activities. This game is not have healthy activities by design for endgame.
