Cynkzz: When you fuse the color/willpower cost of the astrogem you get is determined by what 3 gems you fuse together. Each of the three fuse gems gives 33% chance. So as an example, 2 blue 1 red = 66% chance to get blue and 33% chance to get red. Same if its two 8 cost and one 9 cost, that would give you 66% chance to land another 8 cost. So keep in mind color cost when you fuse to have best chance to get what you want. 3 of same color can never turn into the other color.
