marce18123: The easy legendary gloves require you to complete the Incursive Investigation achievement. The event you did in the beginning is just a part of that. The achievement mainly consists of doing fractals of the mist, the instances content that has replaced dungeons, and has recently added a quick play group finder for low-level fractals.

dellenrules: they are not trolling you. There is a free Legendary set of gloves that you can get from doing Fractal Incursions and quickplay fractals.

Aereton: those big AoE attacks where you are running outside the circle for like 10 seconds can be dodged with the right timing, or blocked if you can apply aegis boon (Guardian has one on demand with the third virtue (F3 standard keybinds))

that way you can do more damage since you stay in melee range (it's not really important here but it's one of the secrets of the more skilled players)

eporcheetahka5086: Fyi regular dungeons such as ascalonian catacombs (AC) have unique armor/weapon sets you can buy with currency you earn. AC weapons for example have a blue glowing effect at night, Citidel of flames has armor with cool fire effects and later on heal/ condi builds use rune sets water/nightmare. Hit a dungeon every now and then for later purchases

Keck282: You get the gloves after completing the series of achievements and quickplay fractals. You will want to be level 80 before taking them on as they are end game content. You will need to do a bunch of them and get 450 Fractaline Dust. Each quickplay fractal will give you 5 Fractaline Dust, and there is a weekly for completing 5 that will give you 10 dust. With dedication of just playing that mode, it will only take you 2-3 days of playing (the achievements give you a lot of dust).

After that, you can do quickplays to earn a Fractaline Sparks infinitely from getting 150 Fractaline Dust. You can use these sparks to get another set of gloves (I would avoid that, and get get the Obsidian ones as they would be cheaper in the long run) or stat infusions to slot into infusion slots to be able to do higher tier Fractals (ascended and legendary gear have infusion slots)

RazerTNT: -the legen gloves are real, u need to complete an achivment for it (mainly by doing quickplay fractals, aka very easy fractals without mechanics) those open world incursions are part of that achievment.

-story mode dungeons are soloable go for them at your leisure they tell how "destiny's edge" get back together before the disappointing zhaitan fight, exploration mode is normally not soloable since some paths require a minimum number of ppl to clear mechanics. in that dungeon p1 (the one u done) is medium difficulty, p2 is the hard and p3 is the easiest one. the paths split after u kill the ghost boss in the center arena

1josephcallender: Free legendary is tied to doing the achievement's it's free because the first pair doesn't require any materials just completing a checklist in game, like the legendary amulet from season of the dragons. Also if you full die/defeated it's better to waypoint than to get rezzed it takes a lot longer to be revived and doing so means you're not doing any damage and the people trying to rez you also aren't doing damage bosses are close to waypoints and make running back in fairly effortless at least with mounts.

DocSardo: SnowCrows has a build called FTP Power Guardian (hammer and sword/focus) that will be much better for you until you can fully unlock your elite specs. In order to fully unlock an elite spec you will need to join a hero point train in either HoT, PoF or one of the later expansions, all of which will be major spoilers prior to doing those zones in the correct order storywise. You don't have to use a site like SnowCrows but instead you could try to make a core Guardian build on your own using traits and skills that you have already unlocked in the core game. Even this will be better than using a scuffed elite build.

Dzirt34: Solo story modes is very fun, and challenging when you do it in first time. It also nice way to improve you skill and learn rotations

PinchOfLuck: Enter luminary, press 4 4 2 2 (skill numbers) then F1 (you may have shift 1) and exit luminary and you smash using normal weapons.

xeridian: The quickest way to get HERO POINTS is to do them in any of the EXPANSIONS past HOT/POF unless you join an HP TRAIN in LFG. Core only gives you 1pt per encounter while the rest of the EXPANSIONS give you 10pts each. Thing is, HOT is super difficult bosses and POF takes a lot of time for some being quests. EOD, JW and VOE are actually the easiest, but at least get JW too to get a war claw and get you Skimmer as high as you can without having the POF mastery.

Though, HOT/POF you get both together super cheap and it gives you the most content and the main Mount and Glider masteries. Lastly, I noticed you clicking your target, try assigning a key or two to Nearest target and next target to cycle. It will make your life way easier. lol Theres also an option to select target when you attack a target (for when you hit one that isnt targeted) Gameplay preference of course. Watch some vids over all the Settings, it will help you greatly as they change they gameplay drastically.

jgkitarel: The legendary is an entire achievement chain. It has been streamlined from the original bit, but the other achevements from the original incursive investigation are still there. The legendary gloves are considered the easiest of the legendaries to get because they require you to largely do one thing: fractals and related things to them (such as the fractal bosses that appear in the open world), rather than virtually all the game modes, a massive crafting item cost to build the crafting items, and a lot. Worthwhile, as they have the same stats as Ascended gear, but you can change the stats out of combat, and trhey look cool. Bragging rights.

AbissalD: The reason nobody talks about the dungeons is because they are abandoned content. The real dungeon system of the game is actually Fractals, which is a bit like Mythic in WoW.

These incursions provide some items you can use in fractals as well as items to get those legendary gloves.The legendary gloves are indeed real and totally free once you hit level 80 - and collect the materials and achievments needed. . They involve doing achievements for "Eikasia" legendary gloves. There is a person to talk to in the southern area of lions arch to open the achievements up for you to complete them for the gloves. Typical GW2: Reward the player for spending time in game and dump the RNG that keeps them thinking this could be the drop that gets what I want..

JaeleNistra: "free" is not 100% accurate but it is easier and faster than most of the ascended weapon achievements and by far easier than crafting legendary armor piece (or weapon for that matter) any other way.

it's introduction is pretty useful for new players, as if a legendary carrot isn't enough to force you to figure out how the achievement panel works nothing will. and actually getting to see how a legendary operates with fairly low investment will help new players understand why they are so good. also it's available to any lvl 80 account (free to play included, afaik) where the other legendary armor pieces all require expansions. i guess also getting people to try fractals is good i guess :p
