Shopping Cartkiyoducros3661: someone plz go give him a ride on turtle mount xD
Voxann: This made me smile that ya'll were so excited to try out the raptor mount. I was amazed how well the movements of the raptor when it was first introduced. If you do buy the Path of Fire (PoF) to unlock the raptor plus all other mounts, I think you'll enjoy working on unlocking new skills through mastery track for each mount. For example, the raptor can do a tail spin to pull in foes as you jump at them and unmount at once. That causes damage to the foe before you begin fighting them. :)
crazygamrchik20: Wow, I am so blown away by all of the kindness and support we have recieved! Thank you all for your tips and encouragment! For those of you who don't know, I am PsychoWolf20's wife, and though I am not able to be in many of the videos due to time constraints, I do try to pop in whenever I can. We've both always loved gaming, and I'm so excited to try this game as soon as I have time! You guys are amazing and I'm so excited to have you all here! Let's grow something great together!
itreallyisjustSai: You'd be surprised to know how much more you can do with the mounts in this game once you unlock them slowly and how much detail they put into their animations including idle animations
nebulastar9050: The raptor has a couple fun idle animations too, and there's 8 more mounts that all have the same kind of detail and every one of them moves differently. Also, the mounts are dyable. The default skins only have one dye channel, but it still adds that extra bit of customization.
vincentclark5853: Finally, a genuinely wholesome content creator video
danwithoutaplan1672: I've been playing for about 4 years now and one of my favourite things is seeing new players running around together or solo, just enjoying the world and the content. Makes me happy. Looking forward to see your reactions of events to come as you progress.
elleeVee: wait until you get the other like 8 mounts, all with completely unique movement styles and use cases
Nebarus: Best mounts and best mount physics among MMOs. Welcome to Tyria :)
sqrrlbot: New players discovering GW2 mounts is my favorite ASMR, and it's good to stay reminded how lucky we are with these mounts and how they move. This video was super wholesome, and it's the same feeling I think we all had when they were introduced with Path of Fire in 2017: it's easy to forget now that so much time has passed that sense of wonder and surprise at how unique they are.
kataguruman: I have over 5k hours in GW2 and forgot what it was to discover those mounts. Thanks for the reminder of that incredible feeling we could feel the pure Joy of discovering your first mount. Now you got to unlock them all. Go Griffon !
IsWhat-m8f: Well look at me lookin' at you - smiling ear to ear the whole video. Glad you're enjoying GW2! I've taken it for granted, I feel.
ToranAllaires: I'm loving these experiences! I've been playing GW2 since 2012, early launch, and this is my home away from home. It is so cool watching someone experience the game for the first time. Dude, you have a LOT of content to play through and enjoy. My advice, go at your own pace. The maps level down if you're over levelled, to some degree, so the world is literally yours to play at your own speed. Welcome to the best game out there - hope to see you in-game!
HonouHaiena: Welcome to GW2! So wholesome and endearing to see the whole family enjoy the raptor!
michaeldrainville2425: Guild wars is free to play until you discover fashion war's lol
andrenorte1: This mount at level 10 I believe it's a trial now, you'll eventually lose it (I believe after 10 hours) and have to unlock it in the path of fire expansion, once you unlock it, it will be unlocked forever for your whole account, for all your characters, even level 1s
1bonebreaker1: think your gonna love the griffon mount
fatalityfx9571: Now I wanna see his reaction when he randomly encounters his first meta-train around the map, with dozens of players in different mounts and mounts-skins
kiksyame1481: Have you seen the shake idle animation yet? Raptor is funny :D
this.is.a.username: soooooooooo..... wifey playing gw2 with you when?
BokkiVA: Gw2 mount animations are still so damn impressive even years later
yashA.456: Dude, i friggin love the excitemend and giddyness about everything in the game and YES! The mounts feel so good. It's like you can feel the weight of maneuvering a mount, it's not just twisting and turning to every little input, but it actually turns at a rate you'd expect another animal to turn around when you are sitting on it.
Can't wait for you to see the other mounts after you finished the Core game (the full mount versions need to be unlocked in Path of Fire)
michaelburke4048: Wait until you see some of the mount idle animations. When I first saw my character feed his Skyscale a fish, I just about peed my pants.
CaptainAdmiralMango: Mounts wasn't introduced into GW2 before the second expansion (Path of Fire), but when they decided that they wanted to add them they felt like the way mounts were done in every other MMO felt a bit soulless as they were effectively just a move speed% increase.
They went all in on making the mounts unique and feel like a living creature, and not just a faster walk animation
ObabasHut: You can dye mounts too. Same way you can dye armor from the hero panel.
Every one of the mounts in the game have a weightiness to them and feel like an animal is carrying you, not just a speed boost. They also start requiring more skill to control, with the raptor being the easiest as the first mount and later game ones needing more finesse with extra skills.
I knew I was in trouble when I was logging in to just run around with them for fun. They hook ya with em XD
ToranAllaires: Also, the ironic thing is for years ANet was reluctant to even do mounts - the early maps were designed for foot travel and the thought was mounts are not needed. Then with Path of Fire, after they released gliding in Heart of Thorns, they did mounts, and man, they nailed it. Each mount has different strengths and has their own niche and with the Mastery system, you can learn new skills. And skins! One of my characters has a stable full of plushie mounts.
