Shopping Cartlorenzosantoro93: I am still in love with celestial paragon. It just feels capable of withstanding a lot and it brings so much if you ever find yourself in a meta group.
Madd_Jack: I'm glad this game isn't just a "Chase the meta" game. Otherwise i'd be the last warrior left in gw2.
OKDC: Ranger has been my go to for solo open world for a while now. Power untamed mainly but cele untamed works better in some situations. Cele druid is still a go to for things like starlit meta where blue trap kills multiple people so we can use the elite res. Blood/soul reaping/ritualist with sword sword spear still works great as a solo artist for me also. Appreciate you syrma.
amonsur3642: Honestly i am amazed how Syrma refuses to aknowledge the importance of condi cleansing while running solo. A single cripple will make you feel miserable. Then there is chill, immobilize, weakness, BLIND... And im not even starting on damaging conditions.
Great builds in a sterile environment aka the sparring golem. Celestial Scourge with Sandstorm shroud and Abrasive grit is absolutely perfect in that regard. It should be #1 right next to the Catalyst
blackcitadel37: Me with my trusty trailblazer scourge: ️️
ZewuFreeze: For me it's Engi, scrapper and amalgam is my go to. Scrapper is really fun and Amalgam is a godlike beast. Also Engi has the best playstyle in the game, for me atleast :)
ijcunningham7873: You can also make a couple of very tanky, power renegade builds, with choice of traitlines for more damage or more defence and sustain. I play it all the time in openworld, then like you say have a condi set up as well, and you can take on anything really. Plus I love my rene, lol :)
andrevilz: I both this cata build it's really strong and funny with hammer!
Hey syrma can you bring to us a Heal Cata/Evo Guide? I playing with heal catalyst it's so strong and fun to play
alantigiev4982: no condi vindicator mentioned :(
palentier1: I want to give a Shout out to the Power Minion Ritualist build on GuildJen. With Relic of the Lich and the Carapace Buff I get as much sometimes more Armor as a Heavy armor class and 42k Total combined health / Shroud pool. You can play full ranged with Axe main hand option if you want. Loads of Health leach and damage. Lots of minions to distract other mobs. It is pretty insane in the open world. Very few things I won't just jump right in the middle of solo. Maybe you can try it out and give your opinion on it.
DCBeers: There is an alac toad condi evoker that gets insanely tanky with the new cruel overseer relic. Does pretty solid damage too, not sure how well it does solo, though.
nerdicusdorkum: I'm a filthy thief main, and a PvE one too. While I will admit at low skill levels it's arguably one of the worst pve classes in the game, once ya understand how to play and how to build, it's one of the cheesiest boss killers imo.
I got 3 solo builds. Lazyeye (p/p deadeye with quickness and self sustain), kiting rifle deadeye, and d/d biomancer relic (elite spec of choice, as long as it has some kind of initiative engine).
First one is really simple. Pirate queen relic, quick or dead, crits=heal in the critical tree, and of course sigil of malice. Just spam pistol 3, and sometimes pistol 4 or scorpion wire to maintain quickness uptime. Can falter against really hard fights, but you shouldn't be using a lazy build when ya need to lock in.
Kiting rifle deadeye is the locked in version. Critical strikes, shadow arts, and be sure to use the dodge roll stealth and maleficent 7 for initiative engine. Every time ya stealth, you gain 6 stacks of lifesteal poison, and you will be stealthing every 3 seconds. Abuse the super speed on stealth, rifle 4, shadowstep, or any number of thief's mobility options to kite and juke a foe.
Lastly, d/d biomancer is a melee condi version of the above. Shadow arts, trickery, and for this example, daredevil with maleficent 7. Use DD3 until malefienct 7 procs, dagger 5 or stolen skill to stealth, backstab, repeat. Between biomancer relic, lifesteal poison, sigil of malice, and lots of I frame and stealth spam, you have a lot of general tankiness, even when your HP pool says otherwise.
wmz3283: what these videos always confuse me is that the player stands in the middle of the damage zone of a big boss but hardly loses any blood. I can only say that this is not my experience.
vezrien: Which of these builds would you say is "easiest" to play?
onyx1486: Blood ritualist or zerk reaper every time can solo anything including raids bosses
George_K.: No Luminary? Is this list for general play or something competitive in nature like raid boss solos?
mikereyes2269: No way Luminary is not on this list, access to both Alacrity and Quickness (Pirate Queen), baked in condi cleansing via blasting light fields during Radiant Forge hammer, self and group healing when detonating light auras, perma resolution, almost permanent protection with utilities and radiant forge, access to shitload of aegis, stability via base guardian godlike utilities plus add Luminary Blessing for also more damage mitigation. You can even change Pirate Queen for Zekiros if you want even more self sustain. And if range is needed you can swap Spear for LB, assuming you are running GS/Spear.
It's one of the strongest builds I've ever played in this game. The celestial variant can face tank anything, might as well rip off the dodge key, you'll never need it.
Mitzrael-yk3pu: Every build can solo pve Easy... WVW on the other hand that is a completely new ballgame, and those are the build worth investing time, in my humble based opinion lol
dokomiii: I never liked Engi before, but Amalgam has been one of my mains since VoE release. The Cele build with mist stranger relic is crazy good for soloing pretty much anything.
Ursinnet: I approve of amalgam being mentioned here, though I would always go for the tools specialization over explosives for solo condition amalgam. The shorter morph cooldowns for more heal uptime and extra endurance for more evasions is really nice.
aidonis98: Even with the Cosmic Wisdom nerf, Condi Conduit is still super strong as well.
adonayjire: THANKS
samysnes: It's nowhere near any of these builds but I really enjoy the survivability / utility of my condi druid
enth1980: I find condition reper to be even easier than power, fully ranged, dot dmg heal you, add biomancer relic if you want even more sustain
GW2_Vys: God Thanks Ele is inside of that Video. Tempest is damn good, in my Opinion better than Catalyst because of the perma Protection, wich is 39,6% and especially on the newer Maps even better because the Enemies hits harder.
ytth439: In this video you talked about using a shield with the Willbender build, is that discussed in the video titled They BUFFED Willbender Into a SOLO MONSTER… ?
azzy9358: Can second bladesworn. Started to play it recently and dont want to play anything else. There are easier builds, but bladesworn is just so much fun. I run it with PvP traits, because I also play PvP with it now, but it has variety of traits, can be run with a rifle, sword / pistol or axe / pistol and I am sure other weapons are fine as well.
