awakenedBanana: You channel Firefox with Revenant and force your opponent's chromium embedded framework to crash their game.
Ink_deep: It's a kitsune mask. Kitsune in Japanese folklore are known for their shapeshifting and trickery. It is also associated with the nine-tailed fox. Think Ninetales from Pokemon. Lots of directions they could go with this.
TeleologicalConsistency: I want a spec for rangers that allows us to have both pets out at the same time. That would be awesome.
jkob1134: Animal shrine protector guardian, the expansion is themed around PoF and EoD it seems anyway with paragon for example so a shrine guardian would fit quite well
asgarzigel: Honestly ANet is a great study how the Stop Killing Games thing can work, since they have kept GW1 running all this time.
lescarea: I actually think the cards are ele, there's a collection called sorrows lost, which shows multiple cards some of which have icons that look similar to initiative points on them, so I think it's likely ele gets oracle with cards, but we'll find out in a few days
Drake00991: Bless GW1 for still being in service.
klazixbg: guardian and elementalist main see flames, Ranger main see the fox or rabbit... but thief main see shadows .. and all are valid options also ... fox mask were often used in japan folklore to associate with assassins
yobebill1234: Ranger = Bard
Rev = Devish
Mesmer = Magician
Ele = Conjurer
Warrior = Paragon
Guardian = Valkyrie (Monk Reimagined)
Necro = Ritualist
Thief = Assassin
matthewjw98: this one is quite mysterious. It looks like it could be mesmer (masks, phantasms), ranger (animal, tendrils on mask), or even necro (fold on the nose makes me think skull, dark tendrils). I believe we have seen mesmer already with the lute. Not sure if any other class fits a musical theme.
graven2002: Wow - wasn't expecting a Ross Scott/SKG crossover, but pleasantly surprised!
paradachshund: Actual Bunny Thumper
njorun1829: Agree, I see ranger not ele. We'll see.
Soundlessfern: Seeing the fox mask style. It strikes me as a "shrine guardian" ranger. Whatever that may entail
cryssoberyl5813: It's Revenant. The Chinese poem talks about "the origin of nature", "the borders of the world". That is the Mists for sure.
ElfTaleFilms: This is a spec with animal pet establishing a good foundation for the ranger profession
Alurazle: I want ele to get the cards, tarot cards literally have wands,cups, swords, pentacles, and major arcana. They symbolize fire, water, air, earth, and arcane.
Nebarus: Clearly a "Minky Musky Sly Old Stoaty Stoaty Stoat" elite spec...
MaTe-du2lw: i said many times look at spear skills and u know which class gets what symbol. Ranger spear has a fox leap, guardan spear has astrology Tarrot cards symbols. Guardian cards, rager fox just look spear skills
CmdrHaze: Its not ranger. Ranger is getting Bard. This is Ele.
baranbulut-t1l6r: it is elementalist. if you look closely you can see the four elements.
-upper left is fire
- upper right is water
- middle left is earth
-middle right is air
SolarisNox: it would be kinda cool if it was something like a chloromancer plan/nature based magic form for either ele or necro, or even guardian
khaygn4579: surprised to not see it mentioned, the right ear of the mask is a leaf. You can see the midrib running up the middle and veins running off it. Definitely Ranger
dummyburner7781: This is the opportunity for a shape shifting mechanic for ranger. You completely ditch the pet, and you instead transform into the fox.
SilvasRuin: I'm going to guess Spirit Summoner for Ranger. As in the Spirits of the Wild. Turbo charge the pets, give them a ghostly effect, and give them a duration and cooldown. Soulbeast already laid the groundwork for categorizing the pets for special skill association.
Just_Joe: Maybe this time around a ranger has learnt how to summon spiritual pets (or attacks) that cannot be harmed while their effect is active, since previous espec pets been dying like flies
