boutch1993: In my opinion, this is paragon's. They wear shield and spears. This even has the space on the shield for this kind of protective combat (placing the spear above or on the sides of the shield). Also, the winged helmet is not common for Paragon's, as they use light protective armor. The winged helmet is more suitable for seraphs. Also, the winged helmet of paragon's are open. They not like the symbol.

for elem the previous icons are water for tempest, fire for catalyst, air/lightning for weaver so an icon for arcane, maybe the swirl one is theirs. i see no earth symbol.

rangers have animal icons except for druid, so my guess is the fox spirit

warrior always have a weapon as icon, burning/sword or torch for zerk, dagger then bullet for the other two. so maybe the longbow/shield.

mesmer got thematic icons, time icon for chrono, cloak for mirage and magic blades for virt,,maybe the card(probability) or most likely the lute(music)

the thieves use body parts corresponding for their specialty, feet/dodging dd, eyes/sniping de and face/shadow for spec. so maybe the helmet, this time they use their heads? lol

i have no idea bout guardians and rev icons. necro uses its mechanics for icon but in gw1 ritualist uses daggers so that would be theirs.

lastly engi , no turret icon my wish didn't come true( edit: someone said the shield look like a tower/rook/turret)

FlamedramonX: since most shield based skills are defensive in some way or another, maybe an elite that can swap between an Ofensive and Defensive stance, wich would cause shield skills to change depending on the current stance and they would have their own cooldown, similary how the Legendary Alliance stance works for Vindicator

SilvasRuin: I'm locked in on 2 being Warrior and 9 being Guardian because of the original class icons. 3 is Engineer because nothing else looks mechanical or science-y in any way. 6th is the only one that suggests Ritualist to me now that all the icons are revealed. 7th is the only one that looks like elemental magic, and Elementalist has always been a depiction of fire or some form of whirlwind in Tempest's case. Cards seem to depict Initiative. I know people use Willbender as a counterargument, but Willbender's diamonds had straight sides while the icons on the cards and Initiative have concave sides. Then there's Mallyx's leaked line about a "Painting Lady" who was elegant, strong, and kind. He also says she was the first to die, suggesting she was killed by demons. Probably not represented by demon teeth then as that would be in poor taste. The most elegant icon is the winged arrow. So...

If most guides for heal chrono show trinkets as minstrel and not harrier and for heal tempest as magi and not harrier, can I just use same set of light armor gear for both specs? lets say combine it 3x magi 3x minstrel and call it a day and use it for both chrono and tempest? SilvasRuin: When looking through the other comments, I'm shocked I'm not seeing anyone (yet) point out what the shield icon ACTUALLY looks like. It's a rook/tower/turret. It is cut in such a way to resemble battlements atop a defensive structure.

Hailix: Because of the new focus on the raids, I think all the new specializations are heavy support classes. So this would fit as a heavy tank class such as Guardian or even Warrior. My guess is that the Paragon icon is Guardian and the shield is Warrior.

AATproducer: The only thing where I am a little skeptical about Mesmer getting the bard is that bard is usually a support spec and Mesmer already has 2 S rank supporters

mr1357989: Swap the warrior and guardian icons, the helmet fits Seraph way more and also looks far to similar to the core warrior icon already, plus the shield has spear slots which fits paragons shield/spear theme. Im also guessing the ranger and rev icon swap as well. The rest of it seems accurate, thats my final guess

suratan4191: I would swap Bard and Gambler, it is more fitting that a card class is probably light armor and bard is medium armor. The shield gives me Engineer vibes, don't know why, maybe because it looks a little bit like a old scrappy shield with the scars on it?
