Janet is one of the main characters, an all-knowing, supercomputer being of sorts, in human form, which can generate almost anything. The scene takes place in the afterlife, and different characters would often ask Janet for random stuff in the same way: "Janet, can I have this or that"... It was already a meme of its own, so, coincidentally, I think this is why it sparked a wildfire of using that phrase on the subreddit.
