genericnameinc: wtf both mesmer and ele are great as core. Easily strong enough and not as boring as many other core classes. Already dismissing your whole tierlist after listening for 10 seconds
cameirusisu1024: core condi guardian is surprisingly good. I recently ran through all the expansion HPs with it with ease, even the harder hot ones, as I never felt the need to equip an elite spec, it was so easy on core condi build.
ultimate solo build is full dps mechanist of course, as long as you are not lactose intolerant, and dont mind abusing the glide-resummon mech trick
Hwajarang: Nice video! Very helpful for me as a new player.
I was looking for info today on gw2 and there is nothing on YouTube about what content you can solo (I like to theory craft and test by doing hard content solo). That could be used not only to know what content can a player solo but also a list of content for new players to explore (for example until today I didn't know legendary bounty was possible solo, that was very interesting. I'm very excited to start messing with builds and try until I am able to solo one)
grip7777: I've played my holosmith a fair bit and it shreds the open world with berserker gear, even in exotics. For me the main drawback of holo is that (even if the forge rotation is simple) you can mess it up and actively do damage to yourself while the other two specs do not have that problem. I'd argue for a position in A-tier for power holo with grenades but I can respect the b-tier opinion, I haven't tried soloing that many champs with it yet. You can usually get a window to recover a lot of HP while cooling down the forge, it has condi cleanse on the heal, easy access to stunbreaks, ranged capabilities as well as being able to run sword/shield to have the purely defensive options of the shield along with the breakbar damage that those skills provide. Given holo CAN be squishy if there is no counterplay to the damage recieved or if there are too many ranged attackers trying to down you specificly. I strongly encourage any holo-enthusiasts to not give up on the forge quite yet as it's still the same holosmith, especially if you know how to utilize your skills.
P.S. I absolutely agree on condi reaper being the goat in open world. I get bored playing it because in a lot of scenarios where ranged is preferable you can just camp sword and do autoattacks to achieve a ton of boons and damage while picking your nose.
ChimpOnComputer: I know firebrand is condi, but the spear 5 4 3 2 autos combo just feels real good
KamaQuazzy: Hey, im a new player coming into GW2 and was curious, on my first character, if I should just get an expansion and get the level 80 boost, or should I play through everything. I want to level as a ranger or guardian but know nothing about the game. Also what would be the best expansion if I decided to boost?
Shadowjoy: Hey Syrma. Can you try creating a solo build for every core profession? Im gathering 8 coleagues from my work end of month and i want them to have the best experience in the free version. Because here in Brazil a single purchase of hot pof is like 15% of the minimal wage. So they will try the free version and I hope they get convinced till august birthday sales.
hollowzangetsu: I'd argue that harbinger is S tier too , with the celestial carapace build he's unbillable
maakonis11: I have celestial power reaper. Should I go beserker gear or change to condi?
vipanez5728: I cant believe that reaper is better than scourge. But i will test it soon. For my OW tests i always do a few PoF bounties then Mai Trin T4 solo and the last test is Cairn Raidboss. If a class can solo all of this then I can call it a real ow spec^^ Since yet only my Untamed and Scourge were able to do all of this without any problems
ChimpOnComputer: Spear for thief and ranger were just left with the bad end of the stick on spear abilities, spear ranger is kind of wack, really stealth?
spear thief is just too big brain for me
