Teaching a WoW Veteran Guild Wars 2 Ft Naguura Part 1

itsJoshV: This is a colab I never imagined lol

rulotron: Glad to see so many ppl trying the game, no better teacher

noyukikun: JOHN MUKLUK GUILDWARS EVERYBODY

DragokanLair: i have started like a month ago after years of WoW, in peace i have done all the core tyria with a really cool veteran player and is an amazing game

Grukdogx: Good content! Started Gw2 3 weeks ago after 15 years of WoW. I learned a lot!

wpierce34004ever: I find it so strange that when Mukluk talks about the advantages of legendaries, he doesn't mention that you can use the same item on all eligible characters SIMULTANEOUSLY. Maybe that's because he's so far beyond that point, but the idea that I could make the heavy Eikasia gloves and use them on all my heavies without changing - that''s unique in gaming as far as I know, and is definitely an incentive to actually work on leggos

pedrorevezsilva: Good video!

HelasHandProductions: Man I wish ex WoW players would stop talking about raids lol. They're fun, but guild wars 2 is soooo much more about the huge open world meta events, and the fact that she doesn't seem to know much about them because she's so focused on a secondary gw2 system is sad to me. but i'm glad she seems to be enjoying!

douglashobden: Muk is VERY good at explaining the game and it's systems.

halloweentimemachine: I’m a new player and this was super helpful. I’d been really hesitant to try fractals (or any group content), but this was a cool intro to them and I’ll give them a shot this weekend

cleetusvonbehren8847: I didnt know they added housing! I knew of the home instance. I gotta look that up after this.

universanima: You can get a very beautiful set of mounts skins from the Wizard's Vault by just playing the game and doing events.

Tigerradde: I am 5 min in the video and already hoping for more of this.

DennehYT: Never though i'd see Naguura play GW2, but i'm not that surprised, especially since WoW has it's uhh, downtime weeks or months when all the content is done for, good to see some wow refugees.

MarcosGarrido-d4o: Hi,i quit wow after 11 years as a tank,i was sick and tired of raids and M and, imo, wow does not give me any enternainment, the expansions are expensive montly sub,i thi k the price does nlt worth the quality of the game and i moved to Gw2 a year ago,i really like Gw2,it has all i always wantad wow to have, and with no FOMO or poor design, you can play slowly and the new expansions does not kill the previous one, glad to see how more wow veterans try Gw2,enjoy,i really reccomend at least try it.

Oaky: Is this an Anet WoW PsyOp? lol

CalliKira: i just love the wealth of knowledge you have about this game and can spit out on the fly. always a pleasure to see you helping others, muk :D thanks for the video!

Riaining7: You can tell she actually likes the game. Good games have that effect. I hope you have a good time Naguura! Good choice of game, and great choice of mentors with Mukluk, hes the best.

briantran7934: This was a great video

ChiefN8tive: I recently started playing GW2 again, and I've been at it for a couple of days now. I tried it when it first came out, but it didn’t really click for me back then. Now, though, I’m really enjoying it and plan to keep playing. This was actually very helpful for me, as I had many of the same questions Naguura did. It helped me tremendously, so a huge thank you! I’m also a longtime GW1 player with a 50/50 HoM, so it’s awesome being able to use my titles and flashy cosmetic skins, lol. You’ve got a like and a sub from me. Great content!

TheDacane: "Get out of red things, and move into blue or green" Now explain to her that the hideous toxic yellow circles are necro heals and you want to stand in them.

loadedexcrement: Been playing Guild Wars 2 for about 3 years at this point, I know most if not all of the stuff you talked about but was still thoroughly engaged for the last hour and a half and as somebody who really doesn't watch hour long videos all that often, that's quite the feat.

I always find it hard to explain this game to friends with "WoW brain" or the need to chase gear score. I think it's an acquired taste for sure, but as far as the game goes for me personally, I prefer that it's a mechanical skill game (or "intrinsic" skill, like fighting games) rather than a "numbers" game. I appreciate that more than chasing gear score.

shellshot-v9w: Definitely downing to agony.

In Nightmare fractal, being in a capture circle pulses agony, and even T1 nightmare requires 11 agony resist to not die.

alanking7331: Poor Billy. He just gets no love.

Balloonbot: I've come from WoW (although will still play Midnight) - and just hit 80, which was fun, just exploring and adjusting to the combat/weapon/kit swapping and now playing through the story of HoT. At the moment however, i feel like there are a few hurdles to jump over such as unlocking my first elite specialisation feels like a bit of a chore, but im trying to just enjoy the ride. Also as a M player I want to give tier 3 fractals a good go, but still have to get through the speedrun 1-2 tier grind before I can play the proper dungeon game. Reminds me of having to get through leveling/heroic dungeons before getting the gear for M
