VYNYL_Music: In my honest experience, he’s got the same situation as the reg soldier in a lot of ways, but squishier. Both are insanely strong in their own cases and remain extremely consistent in their class alone. That’s just my take but reg imp generally is just a good class with little downsides.

yaboicdog: I don't typically like using mech when I'm playing imp. It makes me too much of a target, but my favorite imp is shrimp for his solid long range capability not for the mech. I find myself forgoing it more often than not
