jrovel07: In my opinion of what I've seen so far, the older legendaries require a ridicoulous amount of materials while the newer ones may require you to do many different parts of game content but require less materials. ( Old legendaries required 250 of the highest tier of Blood, Venom, Dust Totems etc... while so far the newer ones only have needed 100. ) So what if you have to run around the maps doing things. It's better than farming an extra 150 of the highest tier venom and every other rarest dropped mat, which is plain monotonous and an huge improvement in the way they've taken the game to both keep the game maps active by encouraging participation and preventing burnout by just farming spiders or volatile magic for a chance for High tier Venom, Totems, Dust, Scales, Blood etc for days on end. Let me run around and do things in game to progress than stand in one area and kil the same mobs ad nauseum. Now if they just gave a different way to get a Gift of Battle other the World vs world, even it if was a longer track, I'd be even more happy because sometimes I feel like WvW and sometimes I don't. Let me just play and have fun and in the process work to the end goal than farm something over and over. I hope they continue the way they've done newer legendaries in the patches to come..

Nevertheless, I'm glad it's coming because as far as right side trinkets gear goes, backpack is the only one I don't have and I don't really want to play content that awards currently obtainable backpacks.
