DracoAK47m: Sword/sword also do good perm venerable and bleed plus chill. To second hand not only we need use 2nd sword but I run pistol/torch sword/dagger.

MrJueKa: Condition damage Reaper can inflict various conditions, and in such a case, I really like using the Superior Sigils of Malice and Bursting on the weapon sets instead of sigils that only improve a single condition.

I don't like sigils that are only effective in certain combat situations because these special situations are not always as they should be in the game reality, and then such sigils are useless.

I prefer pistol and torch as the main weapon set for my condition damage Reaper; the torch is a very strong condition damage weapon in my opinion.

There are many effective runes for such hybrid builds, I like to use the Elementalist or the Nighhtmare runes, and especially when using full celestial stats, for example, the Tempest rune.

kwith: I've got a P/S build that works quite well for me. Its an older build from a while ago but I've been able to solo a lot of stuff on my own. Vipers armor/weapons, celestial trinkets, reaper relic, then Curses 3/3/3, Spite 3/1/1, and Reaper 2/2/2. Very high survivability, I forgo Spiteful fortitude because he's already pretty good at survival so the Lesser Spinal Shivers with boon removal and damage helps more for me. It's my favourite condi reaper build right now.

After a week of only playing wvw, I cannot recommend the reaper for that game mode. Best case scenario, you throw some bananas while your team is throwing fireballs and moutains at the enemy and say you contributed

I can't win a single 1v1 if it gets to the situation, you get ragdolled like crap from the pulls, stunned and cannot break from it, the reaper shroud also goes down in a second. A real shame imo, cause it rrally ruins my experience of playing what I want, but for wvw, you can only chase the meta if you want any kind of fun.

gailbrookhart1777: I play a cousin to this build with Death Magic instead of Spite and Wells on Cele gear. What do I like about it? It's incredibly smooth to play. It seems to flow very well for me. It also fits with Cele Scourge and Cele Harbinger for broad options with good economy on gear.

But I have a Viper Scourge and I think I might put this build on her for a Condi Reaper alternative she can play to test drive yours.
