As for the bags, once you've hit level 80 do the Living World 1 story. Every completion gets you a free 20 slot bag. On top of that, do the Uncanny Canner achievement. It has you collecting some low level items for a collection that gives you another 20 slot bag, and it allows you to explore what you'll be doing for a good chunk of the game.
