Shopping CartCrimsonWoIf: Who is this imposter saying he enjoyed Guardian. Give us our Muk back.
repapeti98: I main Guardian because 8 years ago that was the first class I picked because I like the colour blue. Saving this video for when I have my 2 hours per week computer time after work.
AATproducer: About revive skills, this class actually has a few more revive tools but as Muk said it is not basekit and you need to bring these stuffs:
First of course as Muk mentioned, Signet of Mercy: long cast time but an instant full revive for 1 ally.
Than there is Merciful Intervention: It's ground targeted skill which teleports you if there is an ally in the targeted area. it is a 3,5k heal and it normaly revives 20% on 5 allies. However this revive percentice is influenced my heal modifiers. In classic Anet fashion this is of course not mentioned in the tooltip as well as it is nowhere mentioned what your total healing modifiers % are.... anyway:
Guardian has 1 more revive tool: the trait "Protective Reviver" which makes your shield 5 also a revive when the bubble is burst and you also create a revive bubble when you start reviving someone. if you take the following Healing modifiers: Delicious Rice Ball, Bountiful Maintenance Oil, Superior Sigil of Transference as well as the having the passiv effect of your Radiant staff active, Radiant Armaments, using both Merciful intervention as well as double tapping shield 5, you revive for over 50%. As you start with 50% going downstate, it means you can revive up to 5 targets that way every 25s :)
alternative to the radiant armament staff passiv you can also select the Force of Will trait which is also a healing modifier (which makes this also work on firebrand). Or you can just select it additionaly to get over 60% revive in total.
Btw if you do this I would recommend to take Mace/shield instead of Spear and change your relic to Midnight King. That way you still provide enough might and fury and you only need to swap to this weapon set when needed. You also gain 2 more Aegis sources and additional way of healing applying Regen.
rgentry9: It's worth noting that DPS Luminary and Alac DPS Luminary will also provide Luminary's blessing, as well as a substantial amount of healing through detonating light auras. Even without healing power Sovereign of Light has a base heal of 1673 and they're triggering that every few seconds, it definitely adds up!
RFSDS: yes yes!! Fall to the light side!!
TrevorFullbright: Heal luminary is big fun. It's my favorite healer for CM fractals now.
One thing for anyone that might need it, currently the tooltip for alac says 600 but the radius is 300. Hopefully on the 9th it will be fixed (and hopefully 600
AmorphisBob: I tend to go for Celestial guardian no matter what build I'm using because no matter what build you're using, you're always doing a little strike damage, a little burning, a little healing, pumping boons, and always need some toughness and vitality. Sure I never top any DPS or healing charts, but I always do my job well enough and I usually survive long enough to do so.
SergeyKornet: Loved this luminary build, tried it this week as well. Very large heals, convenient and versatile.
CuriousMoth: Heal Lumie is super fun :3
matsug5704: I was waiting for this video! Iveen Tanking raids 1-7 with Luminary and is so much fun! Also instead of Sanctuary I like to use Mercifull intervention because I can blink to someone in downstate, the skill has a revive Percentage of 20%
alishabutterfly3569: Oh this is perfect! I had just made a build but always find your 'I tried' vids always help understand them better.
elleeVee: luminary is just an amazing feeling spec honestly
firelegendmushroom: Not necessarily relevant to healer specifically, but as a guardian main I can’t blame you for usually not liking it, I have never been remotely satisfied with the feel any of the elite specs until luminary. Firebrand was okay in fractals but in open world I’ve found luminary is a massive improvement for general play feel (willbender was also okay but a bit too rigid in how it moves) so I’m very happy to have found something on it I like. Will be neat to eventually try the healer variant too since it seems less hard on my hand than firebrand.
Ashendal: If they can fix the 1 in Forge not being auto cast and forcing you to either spam the key or manually set it every single time you go back in, it would be amazing. It's miles better in terms of play than FB is for me at least though even with that.
the404tavern: i REALLY miss unique buffs from classes
206Zelda: I'm still waiting on a Dagger/Dagger Guardian that whips out those little Daggers but has tongues of flames coming off them like whips.
Lots of visual creativity that can be done with blue fire; so badass.
DonnieCee: Trying not to say you drew big shield boobs is honorable. They found a way to bring Eir back in spirit.
AATproducer: Thank you Noxxi, I didn't know Shield of Avanger is buged :) But you edited out what Muk said about Dagda accidently! But we remember that she sh-
AATproducer: I thing to mention is that is is important to use the illuminated version of Spear skill 3 to apply enough Might and Fury. So if you are in Spear and Spear 5 is still on cooldown, use Spear 2 or Spear 4 first so that Spear 3 will be illuminated :)
wesleyeskens: Great Video as always Muk! Would this be good for Fractals? Little bit sick of Mesmer
Serdou: Hey!
Instead of "cirts give might" trait in honour,, I like to take honourable staff for more vigor-like effect (So honor 3-1-2 instead of 3-3-2)
Lovin' it !
connorwilkerson4676: There is an open world luminary build that is reallt fun. Im usually a dps firebrand main and am enjoying the hell out if luminary. Only bad thing is im a poor boy and dont have legendary armor so now i have to regear
bennebruun21: Has anyone experimented with hybrid stats on lumi? The flat heale from light aura could maybe make you run crusader gear or the likes for a more efficient build?
