Shopping CartKevinG9012: It should be a crime that Logitech discontinued the g600. At least here in the US. They used to be like $50. They’re way better than Razer too. Much better build quality. Mine is still working about 10 years later but I’d love to have another as a backup.
JoshuaPTFan: 1 for smart keybinding, I don't use an MMO mouse. I moved my movement keys to ESDF to make more keys reachable. I don't use modifier keys for any combat key binds.
Not using an MMO mouse allows me to play when I'm away from home on my laptop without changing anything.
veldara822: When I was injured and lost the use of one arm it was an mmo mouse that still allowed me to play. Honestly, looking back it it’s kind of funny how easily I was still able to play because of it.
Mast3rShan31: My thing with these mice is that I have yet to find one of those that are as quiet as my Logitec MX Master 3S. All buttons are buttery smooth and absolutely silent. That's what I want.
cristiansosa1512: I use a Genius g703. Middle mouse button, two on thumb and keyboard is all I can manage. Tried more buttons but I just kept on pressing unintended ones.
HerkkuKettu: I solved the button issue by binding util skills on numpad. It works really well, as drawback i need to get my hand off the mouse. Tbh that hasnt affected gameplay negatively that much.
Jett125: I did fine without an mmo mouse BUT! Having one now. Yeah. It's good. I just use the red dragon mmo mouse. Not that expensive and definitely worth it.
alcidescampos8973: I use Corsair Scimitar, and I'm loving it, it helps a lot.
robgrubb420: thumbnail shows the mouse i use and i can't play the same without it.
AusTxMale: I'm rather boring where my mouse is concerned. I use the RedDragon MMO mouse, and I bind the 1 to 9 buttons on it to the keypad 1-9, which in turn are all my mounts. The 10-12 buttons are volume down, mute, and volume up respectively. Been doing this for 5 years, and I'm just used to it. A nice advantage to this setup is that the volume buttons work outside the game, and the rest of the numbers just act like I'm pressing the keypad.
Eurosdown: I still use my Logitech g600 for GW2/FFXIV. I'll be very sad when this thing starts failing, since they don't make them anymore....
VishnuPrimeX: When it comes to the mouse - I completly, wholeheartedly (but respectfully ;) disagree. You absolutely should get an MMO mouse, if you play an MMO. My arguments:
1.You use your more agile hand on the mouse. It's waaaay easier to create a muscle memory on those 12 buttons, than on multi key combinations. I've been using an MMO mouse since they were a thing and I would say I got 99% accuracy, while I mess up key combos all the time.
2.Fatigue - an amount of force and movement on those 12 mouse keys is lower than on keyboard (thus, I advice a model with soft buttons - like Razer ones).
3.I would argue, that the more "casual" you are, the more you should consider an MMO mouse - it just makes your gameplayer easier - that's subjective, I know, just my opinion and experience.
Honestly, if MMO mice ceased to exist today, I would seriously consider not playing MMOs.
JanChacn: 64GB ram, nothing special, are you kidding me?
iRcreamy65: I needs to see an example of setting up the g600 for gw2 though.
philipgriessel5315: I have a G600 as well, it took some time to get used to it, but I wouldn't want to do without it now.
kimballhutchinson2351: I use a Razer Naga mmo mouse and a Razer Tartarus hand pad. All skills are bound to number keys and F keys are bound to shift number keys, with some other functions bound to the hand pad’s D pad and the hand pad has a little thumb button that I bind my mount to. Keys close to WASD are also bound for things like weapon swap, walk mode, tab etc. I also shift the F.
Jannatheia: Razer Naga Pro with the Switchable side panels is the best MMO mouse ever, I've been with it for over 3 years now, and the fact that you can easily switch out between 2/6/12 side buttons is insane comfort.
GeminiKLY: Razer Naga V2 Hyperspeed for the win. Can’t imagine playing without it
petersoncameron0323: Thanks man. I been using a 5 button for about 20 years.
kwith: Played with a Razer Naga Molten for a while, then moved to the Logitech G600. It's starting to wear out so now I have to try and find a replacement at some point in time. I could never play an MMO without it.
recon78: I have a Corsair Scimitar which I got after a Razer Naga. 1-5 weapon skills I have shifted to 4-8. 1-3 (and shift) bound to what would normally be F1-3. Heal is on E. Utils are on the bottom 3 buttons (0/=/-) and Elite is on 9. Dodge on middle mouse and weapon swap is on the button below that (DPI increase). Mounts are bound to shift ctrl and 1-10 and the other two for skiff/fishing. Mount spawn is on X (default) and Q spawns Skimmer but only if under water. R to about face and T to sheath.
Even for games with considerably fewer keybinds (like New World rip) I still found it more comfortable to offload most stuff to the mouse. WoW and FFXIV I struggle without the mouse too.
clickbait_0190: "Razer Naga V2 HyperSpeed" here. I use all 12 buttons plus SHIFT and CTRL on all my keys, keyboard included.
A cheaper mouse was not suitable for me, since all I found had angled key surfaces with hard to press buttons and that combination hurts my thumb. RNs are almost flat and feel like a regular button click.
Abs6051: Nice Vid. Have you tried Lossless Scaling in WVW zergs etc?
desel8737: 2-3 extra buttons are great, 12 sounds like overkill. i'm using the roccat burst right now, and i put functions i use very often on it like dodging in gw2
ravehn6932: Keypads such as logitech g13, or the Razer one are the real deal for MMO imo, its weird to get used to it at the beginning but it's super comfortable in the end. A mouse with many buttons is a bonus if u have the keypad
dellenrules: I have been using a regular mouse for over a decade in GW2.
I tried shifting to an MMO mouse and it was not comfortable at all.
I tried about 8 different MMO mice and they all sucked.
The worst part of it is the weight. I like to lift my mouse and many people who use MMO mice these days love the weight because they don’t lift their mouse.
Ever since the days of Baldur’s Gate, Rainbow 6, Quake and Unreal, I’ve had a certain preference on how a mouse should feel.
I use a Logitech G502 for all aspects of PC gaming.
I believe that the mouse should solely focus on movement and healing in GW2. If a skill doesn’t sit me with that I put it into a keybind.
I also use a ReDragon K585. I can bind all my skills to that keyboard.
This set up is so much better on my hands.
I’m sure an MMO mouse might be great for some people, but it isn’t for me.
Shirtlessritualist: I have a Naga v1 pro since it launched, still good, but I’m waiting for v3 so the wireless charging can be more reliable.
