traveling.down.the.road56: Long story short, he spent thousands of gold and hours of his time that he could have used just playing the game and he probably could have made the same gold in return, depending on what parts of the game he chose to play. Opening loot bags/boxes that you have bought from the trading post is rarely a good way to make gold in GW2. Just like all other forms of gambling, it rarely pays off.

CawsMeCal: I was lucky and got Ember Infusion week one without opening a ton. Finally, I usually waste so much on these and four winds but here got that and a ton of the 30 to 40 gold ones
