Shopping Cartbashiel: A small tip for map exploration: If hovering the map legend don't actually show you what you are missing, then go into Options and on the first tab pretty far up, change "Content Guide" to "Hide personal story and events". After that the content guide in the top right of the screen will point you to the closest unexplored region or unfinished map objective.
nebylicza: Wondering around might be terribly inefficient, but I really miss my first hundreds of hours just exploring and finding things on my own.
fu4979: I've been playing this game for 13 years... 13 fucking years... I had no idea I could right-click skills to swap them, holy shit!
Insig385: the funny thing about the Adventue Guide is its literally one if the first Tip pop up that appears on screen when you finish the intro - but literally everybody just x out if it without reading.
SocietiDog: Another Great video. A correction. 1 ascended weapon and 3 armor boxes each time they refresh the wizard vault. Keep the vids coming. And have a great day.
VirtualString: Another tip I'd recommend is to have at least 1 special inventory bag in the last slot, which isn't affected by the Compact button in the inventory. I always use Siegemaster's Satchels, which are easily purchasable from wvw vendors. This way you can have the things you want to hold onto at the bottom of your inventory, and all the random loot, trash, whatever can just pile at the top, and you can compact these after opening bags/salvaging etc. without changing anything in the bottom slots.
Hopefully it's understandable :D
umberbeast8345: World boss portal device, Blish HUD, and teleport to a friend are a few beginner-friendly items for GW2
TomGehrke: Dipped very lightly into GW2 years ago and it just never stuck. Now that I'm hungry for the MMO life again, I'm back. Your channel has been immensely helpful. Thank you.
fnknda: Complementing the "Map Layers" tip, you can use Shift Mouse Scroll Wheel to move between layers much easier.
Also, on "WIKI", another great command is the "/wiki eo" or "/wiki ed" (for easy objectives or easy dailies respectively). They help a lot with the wizard's vault dailies and weeklies if you are stuck.
bashiel: Another tip for unidentified gear: if you have unused shared inventory slots you can put unidentified gear stacks there, and they won't be affected by "salvage all"
nebylicza: Don’t sell any mats unless you need the gold for something particular. The amount of times I’ve sold just to discover I need them for the next thing…
TheLoreStore: I just got my first lv 55 and the right click to switch builds is crazy clutch. I never thought of it being something that easy
HofWasHere: Inventory Tip: get one or two invisible bags and place it on the bottom. put everything you wanna keep, or stackable items in this bag. this make inventory managemant much easier. all new items are on the top. dont use other special bags with special sorting order!!
Insig385: speaking of the ascended gear from wizards vault, its useful later as a veteran too, as salvaging with research kit nets u a good amount if research notes. salvaging ascended armor is my primary way to get research notes for a while now, its so good
ChiruYES: Ive got a tip that’s not that big, it’s just more UI information, if you have a target selected, if there’s a red bar underneath a skill. It means that target is out of range of that skill.
jrovel07: All right. I have thousands of hours in game and never knew you could right click on the weapon swap button to swap builds and gear to other stored configurations. I always keybound the swaps or used the Teenie tiny little arrow by the weapon swap bar. If you're looking for an extra core tyria mastery point to unlock something like Autoloot, you can filter your achievement panel to only show the achievements that award Core tyria masteries. ( Lions Arch exterminator or Dive Master are two you can do while watching netflix on another sceen).
aniimey: Why your character's boba bouncing that much
nebylicza: If I’d start I would:
1. Start charging daily quartz asap
2. Start exchanging obsidian for provision tokens asap
3. Do daily fractals as much as possible for easiest consistent gold.
4. Install Blishhud day 1.
5. Follow a build guide day 1 (struggled 1500 hours before making the switch)
6. Do less minmaxing and just have fun.
7. Find an active guild asap.
Xionraserei: Great Video thanks for that. I wanna add something to that list and thats MENTOR TAG. I just figured that out once your Level 80 (and you have the first pact commander mastery for 1 point) you can Enable or Disable the MENTOR TAG the little Apple symbol on your head. If your ever in Trouble on your Position be it a to hard champion fight or a hero point or any event just enable the mentor tag and ask for help in map chat like: Need help with event on mentor tag. This was a huge revelation to me coz i always struggled to explain where i am. (Its a handy alternative to the share waypoint method) Happy playing! :D This is even better with commander tag then ppl can even join your squad and tp to friend to you to help you quickly withouth having to look for the next waypointt. But the commander tag is kinda pricey. (Please correct me if im wrong in anything here :D)
burakbarlasatak6843: Wiki part is hoooley sheet
Jannah_2k: Enjoying the content as always!
JustinSeizure: THANK YOU!
nebylicza: Anet really really needs better onboarding. They have some tooltips here and there, but definitely not enough.
