Shopping CartSupinpa: A big chunk of my wealth came from HoT speculation, I looked at items which weren’t used at all and made a bet on anet making them useful, I had stacked my inventories and bank with orbs - beryl orbs, coral orbs etc. the gamble payed off with the introduction of Amalgamated Gemstones.
mr.brokenone: Hello Syrma, one thing that I wanted to mention is that a lot of players used to buy A LOT of accounts before the Secrets of the obscure reworked daily reward system and those players also used login macro so they were able to log in all those accounts within seceonds in order to claim those daily rewards and thats how A LOT of veteran players used to make outrages amount of gold within seconds. I have friend that has around 140 accounts and he was able to get more gold in couple of seconds than I did in whole week of farming. All of those ways that you have mentioned in this video are spot on also very good informative video for players that are still wondering how those players got to that point.
dallassukerkin6878: This is not a gibe at all but, folks, put that effort into a real job that earns you actual money! Having a huge GW2 account value is literally meaningless, even to other players - no one with any sense could care less about someone having a 1 million Gold account value!
notnoaintno5134: 12 gifts of might and magic at once? Oh my
misterlul8136: Most gold value on GW2Efficiency comes from gem-locked items, meaning they have mostly paid to get there... Number 2 should be number 1.
lehoangphi1224: I really thought he was going to expose all the players using duped infusions
0Rion3r: i just want gold for making vision right now, farming everything hehe
theedstv: I thought it was going to be an interview with an actual richest player
controlshiftescape: Anyone remember Casiano?
erdalgjelstad5491: One of the big reasons for this is TP Tax evasion. Many trade on discord servers and dodges tp.
picudo: and im just struggling for 250g for my griffon (even tho i do mostly metas daily and such )
elizabethmichaels3101: For some people, dupes.
jennagiai: Accumulating gold just for the sake of it is pointless. I only save the amount of gold needed if there is something I want to buy.
Blue-nB: I think raid sellers should all be banned. Doesn't feel like it's fair
onyx1486: All the old accounts that had duped infusions and hundreds of 16 agony dupes
aromarinn: the moment i started trading i went from 30k value to 90k value in 6 months
draconic367: No mention of additional accounts. Maybe I missed it but I didn't hear anything about how efficiency tracks your account value based not just on non-gemstore but the gem store as well so buying a lot on there is relevant. There are also things in game, like transmutation charges, that are sold in the gemstore but widely available in game. Also the top streamers if they regularly do giveaways and don't keep donated items in a guild bank... then those items will count towards their account value when they have them.
mrchuffy6535: How I got rich enough was when they did the patch that made maguuma lilys really expensive I logged about ten characters in the middle or auric basin and during the metas I just logged between all the maps and got dozens of them each run, did that for a few weeks and ended up with a decent amount.
jrovel07: My advice? Don't farm "everything". Your biggest challenge in making gold is not how much you farm, it's RNG and time. My advice to you is to connect your account to GW2 efficiency and take a look at your material storage and what it lists the trading post price at and then look at how easy those items are likely to drop as a time investment. Sure you could run around hitting EVERY platinum vein but it takes between 65-70 to make 1 gold. Better off farming moa's, griffons and other birds for poultry meat. It only takes 5 of those to make 1 gold or dusts (which drop like candy on halloween) that sell for 9-10 silver each or tier 3 mats that sell for sometimes more than the tier 6 ones. Even red meat from yellow creatures have a higher return on investment than some other common materials. Sure if you could farm 24hrs a day, you'd probably make money BUT most of us don't have 24 hours a day.
adamii323: Solid. Not sure if you read posts from old vids, but similar to what you are sharing here, I got caught in the mis-guided eternal ice shards strategy. I don't have the karma to get rid of them in the most common trade for L4 mats, so I'm stuck (I only have 2.4 mill karma and thousands of EIS). No interest in the boreal weapons shenanigan (a gacha level sink). Any suggestions (I'm thinking destroy...lol)?
PeppaChino: Question for OP or anybody familiar with the game. What is this game mode shown at 1:49? Sorry, new player here. I was happy with my 63 gold until I saw this video lmao
TrikaArts: this just in: you need to invest time in an mmo slowly to get rich.
Maybe some people want to achieve years work in a week hahaha
anthonyvharris: The real question is how much gold do I need? I know it’s more than the 100 I have but I also know it’s less than 1M. If I just want to play for content and fun 1k? 20k? Just so I can buy stuff to save time and still farm a bit.
I don’t care if I’m Elon Musk of GW2. Just middle class
myselfme767: Find a way to make gold from the content you like playing.
ediGoesPRO: Fast and first
