2nd3rd1st: Taking a productive break from expansions is a very good and necessary move, imo. Many people are experiencing expansion fatigue, especially when there is no obvious destination to get excited about anymore like we were about rediscovering Cantha and the fabled Janthir.

NabiLerus: Hear me out, what if there is gonna be 6 races and we see some kind of divide between races like in WoW in this prequel. Since the story is taking place 1000 years before the first gw there is a lot of freedom the writers have, and that way devs don't have to sacrifice races from gw2 but actually add more of them which is exactly what players wanted.

For example humans, kodan and asura on the "alliance's" side and charr, tengu, dwarfs on "horde" side. It would be an interesting interaction between races as that would be 2 guilds that are at war as well as this time for the first time we would have an open world pvp experience in guild wars.

And the main problem that usually players have with that kind of pvp is pretty much solved with level sync as a high level player cannot waltz in the low level area.

My only problem.. no Sylvari. I never play humans or furries. So I hope for an unknown elfish / sylvari kind of folk.

This folk vanished over the centuries between GW3 and GW2, so that we don´t know anything about it until now

dylansmale: Wall running and even gliding are terrible ideas. Realistic traversal would be far more compelling mechanically and gameplay-wise. The platforming in GW2 was awesome and had a lot of potential.

mister-sheep: My problem with the game is the setting. I do not care about playing in a setting that I know gets nuked soon. I would rather play in the Orr that we set about clearing for a rebuild in the terrible core GW2 story.
