Just_Joe4U: DON'T BOOST. You will get overwhelmed by all the information thrown at you and you'd be skipping on learning basic game mechanics causing every single mob at lvl 80 to easily kill you and giving you instant frustration leading to you rage quitting. After you already make 1 character level 80? Sure, boost all your alts; you already know the basics of how the game works but first time character? Don't boost, for the love of Joko.

toastandoatmeal7085: Unless you have prior experience with MMO's and have played at least casually games like Arche age, WOW, TERA, BDO I would NOT suggest boosting to 80, and even then it can be overwhelming. GW2 has some subversive and sometimes obtuse mechanics that make up the game, if you're lost or confused ask for help from guild members or in map chat in your map or main cities.

Opus_Fluke: PLEASE DON'T BOOST YOUR FIRST CHARACTER! You'll get a load of mechanics dumped on you all at once and many new players regret boosting. After your first boost away! You'll have a better feel for what to expect. But first time? Please don't. Oh, and after Zhaitan it does get better. A lot better. It's worth it.
