Guild Wars 2 New Player Review Worth Playing?

ImmortalityV: As a launch day player with over 10K hours into it. Yes. It's worth playing.

arkanaloth2617: so many new faces in gw2 these days... as a launch player that was in the beta with over 15,000 hours... .welcome in.

VluxysCarboniteDreams: Glad to see so many new players joining Tyria and having a blast. Surprised you haven’t tried WvW yet. I’m not a big pvp person, but WvW is so much fun.

lasgin99wif: Really loving your style and the overall quality of the video!

As a launch player, it feels satisfying to see the game I have praised for years finally get new attention. The timing feels heavy though. The death of an MMO hits hard because these games become your home, so seeing this surge in interest tied to something so tragic does sour the moment a bit. Nevertheless I am awaiting your post 80 video and welcome all the new players to this one of a kind MMO experience! :)

rxangelxr: lets get that post level 80 video as well once you do it.

skulpturostone4621: I am an ESO refugee. Found my new home in GW 2 about 1k hours ago

Omie-Trice: Classic wow player but I’ve played on and off since launch and I always come back. If you truly learn the story and play the expansion in order it’s fantastic how things flow. Very rarely I find myself truly involved in these npc’s lives and the journey we’ve overcome. The worlds always alive, endless content I mean this game really has it all. Feels like this is what a true mmo is. Cheers and welcome !

enwz96: Just started playing put 10hrs in and now waiting for the exp to go sale, great game.

aries4378: New World shutting down was pretty sad, especially since it had made some good improvements and was a really fun mmo.

But GW2 really is great. Horizontal progression is great, and I love the visual style of the game. Plus, there's always something to do. GW2 has been my go-to mmo for the last three years, and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

bminturn: I played for 2 years at launch. And I still have my 13 year old level 80 necro, which is cool. I have a boosted elementalist as well, but I'm leveling my other toons. It is a fun game if you want to be able to succeed without spending half your waking hours on a constant grind.

AboveSea2: I just started playing not too long ago, just finished the MSQ and I gotta say, it had me hooked from start to finish.

Xetelian: Returned to GW2 again I spent the last 10 years showing up for a few things here and there but now I just put 200 hours in this year

xvoidgamer: 9k hours and still playing from time to time, it's worth it

shiniesglitters5424: I tried GW2 on its original release, expecting it to be a lot like GW1 which I had no lifed during a summer break (put over 1,000 hours in), with an end total of 3500ish hours over the next year after. Played GW2 for about 20 hours and quit because I was wanting it to be like GW1 and it was nothing like it other than world design. Tried GW2 again in october and have been enjoying just going through the story and doing the zones. 250 hours in and I am about half way through it and its been great.

P.S. for people looking for a MMO game just to chill in with a nice open world, GW2 & ESO are both great.

diggles27: I always loved GW2 bit never found a regular crew to play woth

edattacks: Im currently level 72 now and almost finished with my personal story quests. And I've been enjoying the hell out of it. I have a bunch of level boosts from anniversary gifts and expansion stuff, 3 level 80 boosts that will come in handy for a few alts and lvl 40 and other lvl boosts. This is my 4th go at it, and the other 3 times I could hardly get past level 20-25. This time I picked a race (Norn) that fit the warrior character I had in mind, and liked the voice that Matt Mercer does for the male Norn and like the writing for the male Norn vs. the Human I tried to play. I also played Charr when i first played and I was just super lost.

MrVlad12340: GW2 is MASSIVELY underrated. It is truly a fucken masterpiece of MMO world, it cannot be called anything else in good faith. No other MMO is quite like that.

katc7669: Welcome to Tyria! 12 year veteran here and mainly a WvW player. Jumping in with exotics is fine, and joining an open tagged group on a map is a good way to try it out. Joining the squad's Discord comms makes it even better. Glad you're enjoying the game and looking forward to seeing your impression of WvW. Again, welcome!

moosegamer8189: Loved your New World videos, and your Ashes ones, hope you enjoy your time in GW2. It's been my number one for years, and it's the one I always return to.

NikitaBikita: Great game to pick up and come back to knowing your gear is still relevant, pick up where you left off like me, 6 years ago, jump straight back into raiding and fractals with BiS without needing to farm new gear always feels nice. And the pay once play forever formula is rare these days for mmo so it's extra nice not paying a sub.

ShaikuraJarfaru: Great video. I just found your channel. Keep up the good work. I play gw2 and eso. Casual gamer, and it's nice to see a brother making videos on mmos.

karusso03: I played it for the first time about a week ago. Hooked! Super fun MMO

SiopeR: GW2 is best MMO for PVP right now, Albion might be better for hardcore ppl that likes to lose all the gear and gank all the time, but for casual/rated and mass scale this is it.

GzasGaming: Glad to see you in my Favorite MMO! Guild wars 2 has the best combat for me. Best skilled pvp. I love that you get the same gear Power and skill does matter so much. If you good you can 1vs X and it's so goooooooood
