Guild Wars 2 Janthir Wilds BIG News For Expansion Seven?!

OleBrumm_2: I am so happy you are covering the news. Your takes and opinions are always interesting to me!

And thank you to the GrudgeGoblin for making this huge donation. I hope I'll be able to give something back one day

7hiagocavalheiro: your tangents are always the best haha

theambianceofhomraryan4111: I haven't been able to play much over the past few years, but I have noticed that I really enjoy the openings for these mini-expansions. Lowland Shore might be one of my favorite maps in the whole game now. Yet, I'm not sure about the story. I'm not sure how to word it exactly, but it almost feels like trying to read a book from an author I don't like, in a setting and world that is interesting and that I'm invested in. I want to keep going, but I'm always on the fence about getting new expansions. I am excited about Elite Specs returning, and (admittedly for no particular reason) a potential Dungeon rework. As always, I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts about what's coming next!

matthewbridges3147: that intro was chaos

dannyflorida: Please stop calling them “mini expansions.” It’s cringe. You’re the first influencer to start this but you’ve already influenced others to do it.

ozirus3344: Dropped a comment on the old Super Q&A years ago relating to the end game system merges and currency reduction. Might be fun to revisit it.

You and Boots should for sure lock in predictions on the elite spec icons and see who gets more right!

I was at a work convention this week and had several people say "You still play GW2, it's still going?". If they can transfer momentum from Hype Train to Trust Train then maybe the community will start growing again.

emilymalkieri: Paragon and ritualist are easily the coolest profession ideas they ever thought of. Don't think I'll return for them— really fell out of love with the combat and with content design last year and wow that story looked bad on your last streams —but I'm happy the ideas get to live on. Might dust off the GW1 ritualist instead, shame they never managed to make paragon engaging.

nameless5646: I'm not a fan of the stream format in general because it's often disjointed, interrupted by donations and so on and just goes on for too long for my liking. The video segment felt like one of your old videos and I've really missed those. Hoping to see more of them in the future.

bnoice98: Still waiting for the Lore series

Snipedout209: Honestly, I feel like something is being worked on in the background. Whether it’s Guild Wars 3 or whatever, I don’t know, but we’re definitely working with a much smaller team than we had with EoD and before. I think these “mini” expacs are kind of an off handed way of them avoiding saying they’re officially working on something else. Could just be me but more and more as time progresses that’s what I’m getting the feel of.

angels2online: Nice professional cutoff at the end.

BangladeshMandalore: Haven't played Janthir yet, but from what I hear, they wrapped up the Dragon saga in a hurry cause they wanted to tell another stories, and then it turned out they... didn't have much to tell? At least that's the impression that Soto left me with, the setting is cool but story itself wasn't reallly dramatic or interesting IMO.

DeeoMaika: @Living in the real world@, having a post saying how they are going to do some things less...really doesn't sell it thought. I thought it was time I came back to GW2 after Secrets of the Obscure drove me away, but this does not sound promising.

osiek8: This time I'll wait for patch 1 to drop.

And if it's good, then I'll buy it.

I see my mistake in going for preorders because of "I'll play if anyway".

bigwhiteshogun: gimme Dzalana and Hekets, since every mini expac had something to do with the ancient races that one could have a Forgotten theme, maybe there are some few Forgotten left in Dzalana.

niclastname: I totally agree about consolidating raids and strikes and calling strikes raids. People have this weird stigma about strikes, as if there's anything about the format that makes the fights any different inherently, which there isn't. There's nothing that makes a strike boss inherently different from a raid boss. Someone can say they don't like the designs of some of the strike bosses or whatever, but that's entirely down to encounter design, not the format. Labelling them differently just adds confusion and weird tribalism.

Aptonoth: Watched for 2 minutes learned nothing closed video. Thanks for your YouTube blog about nothing.

bladerunner2006: the worst thing about wp gw2 content is that there‘s not more wp gw2 content

kurorekku: kinda funny the live vod shows up for me first before I discover the edited version

ThatguyinKyushu: The beetle had ties to both Elona and Cantha, it's a thought it might be unlikely but part of me would like them to visit both Cantha and Elona seeing as how we have a certain 2 elite specs confirmed.
