chavian0: Further proof of ArenaNet's commitment to Tyria is the fact that GW1 is still running and has recently been updated. The devs have gone on record saying that they regret ever stopping development on it and plan to keep it ongoing for as long as they are around, since it costs them very little overhead. This allows the more curious GW2 newcomers to experience the characters, backstory and lore which led to many of the major events happening in GW2 today. Furthermore, while a GW3 has not yet been officially announced, the devs have clearly stated that GW2 will not be shut down if they ever release the threequel, so that players can experience the full story arcs from the first game thru the last. If that's not committment, then I dunno what is! <3

lxvejetty: Their support is absolutely amazing! I accidentally deleted my Ascended Spear and the staff replaced it for me. You would think a company this busy would never care about such a simple and useless request but they do care. It goes to show how they care about their players.

DroChaku: I made the switch from Final Fantasy 14 to Guild Wars 2 two weeks ago and I love the game. Combat feels extremely fun, the open world is full of players in every zone and classes feel unique - I'm playing Engineer and if I compare it to ff14 engineer aka machinist Guild Wars 2 absolutely destroys it in terms of fun. I reached lvl 80 today and unlocked my elite specialization so looking forward to leveling that and the masteries.

carteljameson8395: If they're making Guild Wars 3, it's because they want to do something they can't do in Guild Wars 2. That's the reason for Guild Wars 2's existence in the first place. ArenaNet was coming up with ideas that they found couldn't be done effectively or at all in the original Guild Wars, so they created a sequel instead. It's why I'm not concerned about the existence of a Guild Wars 3. If they're making it, there is most likely a very good reason for doing so.

Assuming you havent gotten yours yet, cant wait til you embark on that adventure. Its not too expensive all things considered (150 guild favours, and 100 gold. Even a single Easy mission gives you 300 favours so enough to get the hall permit) but what comes after that.. hehe.
