Shopping Carthighimpact1: I will never tire of listening to you glaze this wonderful game.
bigo93: You can spend an entire month playing a musical instrument in Divinity's Reach and not only not lose any progress in anything, but you havent wasted a month's subscription either!
boxonothing4087: GW2 doesn't grow on you, you grow into it
GBEWgw2: A point you touched on about arenanet respecting players time is so on point, an example I can give is that I have not been able to play guild wars 2 for well over a year, I can't wait to come back but it is also so nice knowing that when I do there isn't a huge list of activities that I have to do, instead it's a huge list of activities that I am able to do.
that is the biggest difference between guild wars and other mmos in that regard and I couldn't agree more.
2222lex: Glad you love the game and the people around it. Gotta agree that the game really rewards cooperation which fits the community
F96-t6s: After 4 years worth of looting the Octovine event in Auric Basin, I finally got a sunrise precursor (rare drop) which allowed me to craft my first legendary. All was great for a while, until I saw someone in Divinity's Reach running around with the same legendary with a small but significant difference, a sparkling hilt.
That sparkling hilt is the key differentiation signifying the legendary weapon ETERNITY, which, automatically transmogs between SUNRISE during the day and TWILIGHT during the night.
Anyway, my crafted SUNRISE slowly ate into my sense of achievement and I eventually went through a second hell of crafting TWILIGHT. Long story short, you offer both SUNRISE and TWILIGHT along with some crafting materials to the mystic forge and receive ETERNITY.
Enjoy your SUNRISE legendary :-)
ghj290: I've come back to GW2 after many, many years; I bought the game at launch, played it for a while, got a character to 60 (ISH) and, stopped.
I've now got a new character to 80 a couple of days ago and have started Open Worlds chapter one, but have spent more time just completing areas, vistas, hero points etc. and am really enjoying just wondering around. I take part in events when they occur near me, and I'm probably more of a hindrance than anything else as I'm still trying different builds in my necromancer, so if anyone here was doing an event and there was a necromancer that didn't seem to know what to do, that would have been me I'm afraid.
But I am really enjoying my time in GW2 and I'll get better...
nebylicza: There’s a dark side to this. Toxic positivity. I’ve encountered this a few times. Some people are so pampered that they can’t take anything negative even if it’s warranted or constructive criticism.
dryziger: Tyria is the last world i can go to when I need a break from rl struggles, its always there 24 /7. I played many mmo´s (even before wow release) - this is a community and most others turned into a dick measurement contest. GW2´s systems are supreme for creating a group that deserves the title community. After the short tutorial of 1800 hours i finally did something useful and got my skyscale today (new way)! Yay ^^
Phyrexian-God: Most Welcoming Community I've Ever Seen - just wait till you see how "welcoming" is the 20k KP T4 CM fractals groups or KP Raid groups :D
Jokes aside, nice, vid, keep it up :)
CozyGamer90c: Tyria loves U :D See Ya :)
skehall8139: So glad you are enjoying your time in Tyria. Thank you for the content.
bigo93: You can spend an entire month playing a musical instrument in Divinity's Reach and not only not lose any progress in anything, but you havent wasted a month's subscription either!
RayTheManOli: HEY I SAID GW2 IS WHERE MMO PLAYERS GO TO RETIRE!!!!!
JinxyKat-l9g: I would say PvE players are for the most part very helpful and nice. PvP and Raids and high tier fractals can get a little toxic (a lot on occasion) but on the whole, after a decade in the game i would say jerks are definitely in the minority.
bosunbones.8815: Ive said it before and I'll say it again.
The GW2 community is borderline pathological in being freindly and welcoming.
You get some bad actors sure. You always do. But on the whole we're obsessive.
arhonvalran1551: I would never give anyone legendary. Not because it is expensive, but because getting first legend is a journey on its own. I would not want to take that adventure from anyone.
SiopeR: Remember that ppl like to give streamers free stuff and hang around to be on the screen, same stuff would happen in FFXIV and WoW.
Aereton: ngl, commanding the more complicated meta events (and Convergence CMs) is my end game
I love coralling 50 man squads, and it's incredibly rewarding seeing the excited chatter of new players when they finish Dragon's End, Eparch or Umbriel CM for their very first time
and as a side bonus, I can do any meta event I want whenever they are up even if it's late at night, to farm gold to buy some mount skins gacha, invest in whatever legendary I'm working on or whatever
witnesstohumanity9917: I mean i started playing 2 weeks ago.
I asked something in map chat , and someone sent me 50 gold.. said he was given it as a noob and to pass it on.. says it all
sorasmithrarim3085: every time its nice to see videos like this that say waht you think and show a good light on your favorite game ^^
blekmagus: Spot on, I've been playing for over 13 years since the launch and I'm still reminded daily that GW2 has THE best community in any mmo today
pez6905: Its one of the last mmos left i havent tried. About to playthrough GW1 reforged, once ive completed the story in all 3 campaigns, im finally hopping over to GW2 and hope i settle their long term.
gsardalla23: Grats on your first leggy!
mynameismiketest770: Yeah, Tyria is my 2nd home, and the people within it are like family. I'll always go back to them over and over again.
Arianod1973: There was a time when I was starting with Guild Wars 2 but hadn't yet quit Aion because a few friends were still playing it. I was in Morheim with a pretty high-level character when I spotted someone struggling against a monster -unconsciously switched into GW2 mode and rushed to "help". The guy was like "Dude, why did you have to steal my kill?? D:"
(We waited for the monster to respawn and I helped him kill it again, this time letting him get the kill and the loot) ^^u
