lanadelrey1617: I think they're throwing people off on purpose with the helmet and shield. The art we got which is obv warrior is a guy with wings holding a spear, so yes Paragon, but without a helmet. Paragons wield spear and shield and there are similarities with the concept art of Paragon with a shield from gw1 to the shield we just got. The helmet we got called Valkyrie helmet in BLC was released in close connection to these reveals and the base colors (icon in game of the skin) has blue wings. So my bet is the shield is for warrior and the helmet is for guardian

xeridian: In 12 years, I still dont use Longbow. It does the worst damage of all the weapons and has little utility and SLOW to use. The short bow blows it away due to Condi. Every other Power weapon for Ranger is better than Longbow and if you go Ranged, use an AXE. It hits 3-5 targets, Bleeds and Chills can be dual wielded for probably the most damage in the entire game and Kites better than Long or Short bow and you can pair it with OH Dagger to add Ranged Poison as the Best Condi combo, if you want Power, use Hammer or Greatsword or Dual Maces. Im still waiting for Pistols or Rifles. After all, RANGE is in the RANGERS name. lol Its the only thing that truly gets under my skin in GW2. Cant use Longbow and best Shortbow build is Soulbeast Condi and I never wanted to play Thief, Engi or Mes to get Ranged, I mean, IM A RANGER.

The newest teaster, the Shield does kinda look like a castle or Helmet with Crownlike Top, perhaps somebody has an idea if this could mean something.

phoenixtwolf: I have been thinking and because there is no weapon coming out maybe the idea is just symbolism after all any new Elite Spec can use the weapons of the Main class so an association of weapons kind of seem unnecessary.

So in that aspect: The Dagger, Bow/arrow or (wings/arrow) Shield and helm could be anything, just symbolism of what the class does but not actually meaning it will use that weapons/armor.

So for example the (twisted dagger) you think ritual so not actually using the dagger but what it symbolizes

eurasiacentertutorials9518: We pretty much know the knife and helm are ritualist and warrior, at least that is what it seems like. Total shot in the dark, but I thought the winged bow much actually be a Mesmer class, and is like a "magical girl" thing and the clones will be using ranged attacks from a distance. Although having a more bow based thief does make sense. But I was sort of thinking we already had the deadeye so maybe not.

mismismism: All I know is, I need Bard to be the Mesmer spec because GW2 has a chance to actually make a Bard focused on music and the mental side that actually is what a Bard is, instead of an Archer that plays a guitar sometimes like most games. That's the one I'm rooting for badly, especially after Virtuoso disappointed me because it has nothing to do with music.
