It’s such an amazing game and I have over a decades worth of content to explore. I can’t wait to see what 2026 brings!

AngryAsura: Controversial Opinion : I dont want loading screens in Gw3 aswell as instance based zones. I've been playing Guild Wars 2 for over 9 years and have always loved the freedom they give you, however I have also played alot of New World, where they just have one giant map and you can go from A to B without leaving an instance. I loved that about New World, the rest was kinda lack luster. All I want is for me to grab my Skyscale, fly to the eye of the north and beyond. Even in zones that arent open yet (too much north or south or whatever) you could add something sea of thieves did : you get damage if you go there. Make it so that its not a strong current that is pushing you back but a mist or something. Idk my opinion :D

1. More content. More of what we have. Just more.

2. Adjust older content like dungeons and older maps to meet modern reward standards and diffaculty so more do them.

3. Fire cal cohen and get a balance team lead that is not lazy and incompetant. No long time players will be saying that the balance team is anything but lazy and the games largest problem by far. They can not balance for shit and do not test for shit.

4. More fractals and longer form classioc dungeons with better rewards for the length. If there is a raider community then there is also a community for classic mmorpg dungeons.

iridradiant: Even though it wasn't a full roadmap, there was a section of the 2025 Holiday Studio Update article that covered what's coming in January. It reiterated the Jan 13th Skills and Balance Update and Feb 3rd's Quarterly release list, but also added Jan 13-20 Fractal Rush event and Jan 20-27 WvW Rush event. I'm looking forward to the Raid update coming soon, but hoping I get the other relics added to my legendary relic before they release more of them!

If they don't release further expansions, I'd like to see a remastered of central Tyria. Some world bosses are buggy or simply don't work anymore as intended. Healers and siege turtles mangle poor claw of jormag... and the centaur shaman is just a huge bug.

New textures and shaders could also do wonders.

But honestly, I can't imagine that they will stop releasing expansions. In the end, the constant stream of new content is what keeps players playing the game and leaving money in the gemstore.
