Zeferres: Paragon skills were way closer to Guardian's existing boons and skills than Warrior. But it would be more interesting for Warrior which lacks anything like it.

SteelMoments: I don't like much speculation, but I'm going to do it anyway. I don't know GW1 lore, I did not play it. To me the wings on the helm evokes valkyries. If there was some kind of Valkyrie class I think it would go to guardian. I also think that Bard makes more sense on thief, it is historically a more rogue-like class, e.g. in AD&D 2E. Also if there are going to be weapons, the prototypical instrument weapon is the focus, and thief does not have one yet... Mesmer does.

I am currently thinking it might be a new class for every armour type (bard, medium) (this, possible seraph or valkarie, heavy) next one will be a spellcaster type icon but id love a light battle mage type thing.

That helm looks a lot like a typical warrior/paladin helm, With the other one before maybe just a Bard So maybe their showing the new GW3 classes and nothing to do with GW2
