Shopping CartSilentstrike46_: Are they a good short-term investment? No, not at all. Will they take years to pay off? Yes. But there's definitely a little dopamine hit every time I log in and open the box and it fills my inventory :D
I'm slowly trying to unlock everything in my home instance, and even though they definitely do take a long time to pay off, I am finding them worth it. Even if not for the gold side, being able to get some of the expansion currencies every day without needing to grind helps take the edge off of a lot of the legendaries. Will I be able to get all the currencies I need from it? Probably not, but it definitely helps with feeling that you're making progress even if you can only log in for a few minutes.
Especially funny since one of the food items you can get from the delivery box is needed for Orrax, and is still around 2g per item :D
I only recently realised (with the VoE board) that opening the box gives you all the CURRENT rewards, even if you obtained the box earlier. That is such a huge boost for future expansions. Very good tip!
I'm at the point now where I have most of the boards and maybe 2/3rds of the home instance nodes, and the amount of passive income is insane. It might take a couple years to fully pay off, but after that point, its free profits. Especially if you're taking about 3200 gems a year in profit, that's insane.
SheenaMalfoy: The main argument I see against Home Instance Nodes is how long they take to pay back, which is why it drives me nuts that people just ignore that you can charge quartz and make a profit in a matter of weeks, AND that any further profits from that node help to pay off any future nodes faster. People have been denying the usefulness of a full home for a decade, but if they started a decade ago they'd have so much shit they wouldn't know what to do with it.
The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago, but starting today is still a good thing to do. And when you can start with nodes that pay themselves off in a matter of months, and exchange gold for gems when prices are low, and buy things when they're on sale, you can cut down the investment costs tremendously while ensuring the most impactful returns at the same time. I may have started my home as a completionist in Season 3, but I have gotten so much value from it since I don't even think I can calculate it. It's pure profit at this point.
aaronchong2194: My homestead is full node simply because I hate it being empty, idc about putting money into it since I got in it on a daily basis
littlerascle4: Hey bro. Nice video, are you an Indian?
Birger0511: How do you get the Contract from VoE, i can´t find it in Gem Store
LOjha876w6HUiBajhajsjxh: I never understood buying expensive things that need you to play/login every day for years to make it back inflation. While you could easy use gw2tp, common sense, and the trading post, and double, tripple ur money every few months or even weeks. The more the better and faster it goes. Some items plummet to 12c, than go back to 80c because an event. And their are lots of events like this and you can see the data on gw2 with days/months. Space would be an inssue with cheap items if you bought 100k of them and wanna play active, thats why its maybe handy to buy a second account just for 11$, first 2 expensions is mostly all you need. You can let sit as many items u want at TP u just see 100, take them out and sell. Dont sell all at once because undercutters and price lowering. So you preference would be with more expeniece items as a stack of an item that cost 20Gx250 is lot less space and 12cx250. Its doable one 1 account sure when you flip more expensive items. But you miss the easiest 3-4x ones with some mats. Which doesnt seem much but 1k turns into 3k, 3k turns into 9k so on and on. Till infusion or gem shopping is like buying rare gear
devinreitan6319: please turn down the base on your mic, its not good, gain is too high
