clave7203: IMPORTANT NOTE: when you right click the salvage kit and click the salvage green option, it’s going to salvage all your greens AND everything below that (so blues).

Always do things in this order:

1) Open all unidentified gear. I recommend having 3 dedicated shared inventory slots for blue, green, and yellow unidentified gear bags and (up to) three for your salvage kits. When the stacks get full, I take out about half from the stack into my inventory, open it, and salvage. This strategy is especially useful if you play across a few toons consistently. NOTE that a salvage kit will NOT salvage anything in a shared inventory slot.

2) Open and salvage your blues first with copper fed and then greens with runecrafter. That way, you’re using the right salvage kit for the right job. Using runecrafter for greens and blues isn’t the worst thing, but the copper is a huge quality of life item that you want to take advantage of.

Great video with some good tips, if there’s anything you should spend gems on it’s these kits!

SuzanneRush: I picked up the copper during Halloween when it was reduced, and felt I'd regret it because I'm still new enough to be perma-poor. But I've been absolutely ripping it daily, and the cost per salvage versus buying kits - even making the fancy 250 stack ones in the forge - is so much less. For blues that don't need the better kits, especially after an Octovine run, it just burns through them so much cheaper. So glad I caved to the pressure of every content creator screaming to buy it.

Aldaeus: That rune salvage is for sure my next pick up. I have a small stack of items I’ve been sitting on because of the runes in them are worth more than the item itself on the TP.

fafniricingdeath: I think im done with the game. Every fucking thing is a grind. Everything. You need this to do that. This game takes that to a level no others have holy shit. Want to breathe air? Theres a 25 part mastery for that, itll only take 15 hours of your life. So disappointed in getting a Skyscale. I spent all that time getting A DRAGON. Only to find out it doesnt fly, it just flops for a hundred yards then you gotta hit the ground again. WTF???????????????????

Probably a mastery thatll take a month of your life to add that coming in a year or two.
