SheenaMalfoy: The "named after armour stats" theory seems to be gaining traction. Minstrel, Seraph, and now Celestial...
MoreImbaThanYou: If Nuclear engineer is a thing, I'll need skritt to be a playable race so I can enjoy my skaven fantasy.
TheRetifox: Engineer being like "Now i've become death the destroyer of worlds"
zacneley4685: plot twist : anet only got these images done and posted them so people give em suggestions on what they want , they'll see what the majority wants for each one and then make em .
RobinDuehring: I predict it's engineer - Medium - looks like a neutron or atom
TechNerdGamerDad: It’s a g spot
Minivan3023: Tide Pod build, nothing but boon strips
DaCalZone: Finally we can do our laundry in Tyria. Our armor and clothing have got to stink so bad at this point.
vvhitevvabbit6479: I think it's important to note that the objects that make up this symbol are very physical looking. They have cracks in them and edges. The curved bits look bone-like. This could be necro oriented and reference some kind of bone-mancer sort of spec.
Awokenify: At first it reminds me of the vision we had of "The Eternal Alchemy" with the dragon energies rotating around Tyria. Maybe it's another Rev candidate, channeling the Elder Dragons, now that theyære gone?
newbornkilik: Have all of the teased "specs" so far conceivably tied back to guild wars 1 classes?
We know with their new release schedule that they're looking at older stuff and seeing how they can reimagine it.
YukioTv_: Guys! Listen!
They are following the same pattern as PoF (and the colors match)
First Mesmer, Second Guardian and Third Necromancer
Mesmer Bard, Guardian Paragon, Necromancer Ritualist
Yeah, more of Elona region, I'm betting on GW1 inspiration. And today's icon is a 3D version of GW1 Ritualist
xy1odrone: they are doing the same reveal order that was in EoD so
Mesmer -> Guardian -> Necro -> Revenant -> Warrior -> Elementalist -> Thief -> Ranger -> Engineer
so far we have Minstrel -> Paragon -> Ritualist
goygeous: One thing it could be related to is something we have been introduced to already, the wayward wisp and King Wisp. What if the elite class is related to wisp magic, where you use the wisps to attack, buff and defend, and when they arnt doing any of that or they on cycle they rotate around you like the item visual does.
leftjedi: - 'Balls?'
- 'Balls.'
altarium4220: We have a bunch of elite specs like Mirage or Holosmith whose icon doesn’t make sense unless you already know what it is. I think this is another of such cases, so it’s impossible to predict.
Jartist234: I'm not convinced it's an elementalist icon for one reason. In one of the curvy bits, you can CLEARLY see what looks like a structure crack (To the left of the ball) which implies a physically made item. Elementalists generally rely on magical and conjured manifestations of the elements, Fire water ect. So this would have to be something for a more physically reliant class like Thief, or Mechanist. These are just my opinion and I could be wrong.
Oatmeal-Savage: I got the impression that the 2 dangly bits were going the other way than the direction you suggested. Instead of something being sucked in, my first impression was something was coming out of the middle. Something along the lines of those orbs that circle the elementalist. Except these things aren't orbs, they're something else. I'm thinking it'll be a separate object with orbiting thingies around it that either gets triggered like a trap, or tossed into a group of mobs to enact its shenanigans there. And I get the impression it's elementalist related.
VinceMouse: Now hold on a bit... if it's not elite specs, it could be large system reworks. Music, Armor, Revival?
paulcharran4699: I love the Idea of a chef profession. Imagine maces skinned to look like giant spoons. Swords would be giant eating utensils. The character could throw fruits, vegetables, and pies.
kimbo381123: tide pod? i find that hard to swallow
AlanRavenX: Elementalist - Astrologer there strong indication to them in domain of istan - Stars theme u Heard it here first it's gonna be an orb
Namriel: Just like my previous comment on the last teaser, I'm not a Guild Wars 2 player.
However, I played WoW then move onto FF and now, with all the experience I have amass, I can clearly state what class this is going to be.
Actually, it's rather obvious when you think about it...
BLITZBALL !!
jimdale9143: It resembles the in game animation for Necromancer's carapace when you've gone full minion master with six minions out. You have two green objects orbiting around you leaving green trails behind them. Another YouTube creator (Daren), mentioned that the Ritualist in GW1 summoned spirits. Aside from summoning being a Necro thing, I understand some Necro mains would like a minion based elite spec, this one included! Minion master can be a lot of fun leveling, but except for one Harbinger build I've seen the elite specs use either no minions or Flesh Golem and some times Shadow Fiend. Maybe I'm just dreaming here, having loved Warlock in WoW and Necromancer in Diablo and EverQuest and GW2, but one can hope. :)
Minivan3023: Those "dangly bits" look like they are rotating the sphere on different axis. That looks like an X and Y axis rotation
Caeilia: The parts on the outsides look very revenanty to me. the triangular sharp-looking shape just really remindes me of the general art style if revenants.
Zealle: Dofus... Eliotrope~ looks like some sort of portal to me
