OnlineHipHopTV: Addons are a bad thing. It takes skill away and makes PvE boring and its pretty much cheating if you use a cooldown enemy's PvP addon.

Removing this will reward skill. Which is a good thing.

Nicknack-M: Way over due. I've always been amused by players that said the game was boring but they are also running 23 addons.

raventhorX: bout time. addon reliance are one of the reasons i never stuck with WoW. It's too much of a hassle to have to find out what addons people use and which ones are still supported plus half the time they didn't work as intended but the game was basically developed around addon use and often felt almost impossible to play without them.

reidcacaro2919: Just to be clear add ons won’t be banned? They are just making some built in to the game? There are so many great add ons, in addition to the popular one I love the raid cam add on, lets you zoom out a lot further when leveling. Helps prevent enemies patrols sneaking up on you

Hunk93: The first time I played classic was in 2019. I played with no add on because I didn't know they existed. It was honestly the best time I had playing and is probably the reason the game means something to me. No guides no add on. That version of the game I enjoyed more then one full of add ons.

lordProxid: The main thing I hate about combat addons is that for the majority of guild they are Required just to get a raid spot. I don’t want want to be told when to move, when to attack, etc. I want to play and learn the bosses mechanics and patterns, it’s called playing

Chaospandaaa: I always played without addons except for questie in Classic. I've seen some livestreams with 20 addons that showed them exactly when to dodge, what's the next move any when to attacke.

briham81: I'm on board.. they've dumbed down the game so much it's easy to be good. I'm not fantastic but I remember how many more things you had to keep track of in your head. But I really do like boss mods for training wheels and get you used to boss mechanics and rotation helpers to help learn optimal play style
