rthurJ: option seven: We play the story line of the other side of the world, avaloren, not in the future but in X years ago, and we experience a place untouched by titans up until azeroth wakes up on the other side. So we see the story from a different perspective, maybe the shadowlands are not altered on this side of the world? We can have access to pretty much all the races either because they were here (arathi) or because of pirates/sea farers sometimes coming in but unable to return. Fresh old god to look at, maybe a naaru or two, a little familiar, very different.

Saiyarina: what if, when azeroth got out of her 'egg', we all die, and wow 2 starts in the shadowlands, and we have to figure out a way to get 'reborn' somewhere? would be a good time to figure out what is wrong with the shadowlands. Just a thought. Ow, and don't forget the bronze dragon flight. We might end up in another time line, trying to prevent the past events. Maybe that is when murazond comes into being. What are your thoughts about this?

nedcakovan5863: I would like to kinda of see a future Azeroth. A future say 10k years after the end of Wow1.. Start at level 1 again. Have a story line where your first few levels are finding your old characters treasure locked away somewhere, so you can grab all the transmorgs, mounts toys etc.. But this then gives the new game a chance to have developed a whole new history for the last 10k years. Bit like W1,2 & 3 set the scene for wow.. I also think leveling is too quick. I like to see a bit more of a journey from lvl 1 to 60 all over again. With big dungeons like Black Rock depths for lvl 40 etc.. People that missed that, just dont understand what they missed. Imagine doing classic again with all the new tech, and being able to do the stories that got missed due to old tech not being able to do it. I just think having a new story being built between the end of wow 1 and the begining of wow2 will break away from the avg story line since Wrath. I think they skipped to much each expac and didnt give it time to fill in all the side story lines that never got told. So kinda start a whole new era where Classic, BC and Wrath are only legends in long lost history and we start a whole new story line linked but totally different. like a new Arthas, and illidan.. where the story goes a bit slower rather then bam, get max level in 2 days, start raiding, and the end boss is done all in a year. There are so many opportunites to create stories and slowly introduce them rather then just killing the bad guy after a few patches.

Tszhizz: I think there is no way they will do a complete wipe. All collectors and achievementhunters that have been subscribed for 20 years will probably feel drained and leave wow

etchieSketchie: Even if they reset the world, they probably won’t get rid of elements of the game that straight up make it bad. They will not abandon flying, especially flying mounts that you can purchase in the store. They will also be scared of backlash if players lose their old mounts. The game really needs to be more grounded, literally and figuratively.
