Eyevou: A lot of the time dev boxes like that are tied to effects or "scripting". In this case I would suspect it's connected to the unique splatter effect for the volcano. I'd be interested to see if something like that is in the Dreanor version (does Dreanor have a "Hand of Guldan" area?)

skidmcmarks7637: My guess is it would be tied to the eruption effect of the mountain. I used to see these all the time in the horde garrison. Mostly because I was running a low end laptop and sometimes it wouldn't load in the rocks right away.

Hartz4Empfanger: The blackbox is where all the dialogue files are stored, for special safe keeping, incase the game crashes xD

cujoedaman: The black box was there so Dranei investigators could find it and use it to discover what happened to Drenor when it exploded.

sammycat203: I hope this one is new for you. There is a purple and white dev block under the starting platform of the maw of deathwing fight. I have never been able to recreate how I got there but one time when clicking the button to jump to the next platform it just put me right on it. I’m guessing it’s just a default jump spot for whenever the game doesn’t know where to move you too but I’ve only gotten it to work the one time. The view of the sundering from underground is really interesting and who knows what places you could get too from that block

bemeas: Nice! Was waiting to see if you'd check this out after your last two Shadowmoon related videos. It is possible to get inside the mountain to see this properly, but it's very, very tricky, requiring an insanely specific route. There used to be a youtube video showing how, not sure if it still exists or not. Very cool regardless!
