DRAM-68: I enjoyed your video video. I would definitely go for an M5 Mac Mini (vs M4) because it has more performance headroom for future proofing. M5 provides a big boost on graphics and AI. I'm looking forward to more comparative videos.

Have you tested M5 Air? Just wondering how it does after a while of gaming for example, over 1 hour. I heard the newer chips do better in ram compression with a bit of less heat. I saw some other videos showing that it stayed way more consistent. Not sure how, Apple must've done something.

tronam: WoW tends to be more CPU limited than GPU and also seems to benefit from the increased memory bandwidth in the new Macs. I recently tested my M4 Max Mac Studio and it actually outperformed my 2 year old $3500 PC with RTX4080 by about 20fps on average, which I was not expecting at all.

pauldunecat: I'm runnint an M1 Max Studio with 32 gpu cores with a 5K by 2K display and I'm around 40fps, it's still fine!

nicholasferrara8028: I remember raiding back in the day during Vanilla, TBC and Wrath on an Apple computer, it was the sole reason I upgraded to Windows because of the poor performance lol
