hoyboy1423: "end goal for most people is resilient 20s" outrageous take
khoitrieu: I have a group of ~12 ppl i play with whom do keys regularly, IO ranging from 3500 to 3250. We all hated turbo boost because it was basically a 2 week period where we were told “you have to do 30 keys” when most of us were on the fence about taking a break. I kind of feel like you guys could easily poll your audience on how they felt about turbo boost, but personally i felt like it artificially inflated the season length and blizzard would 100% do it again
effIron: End goal for most people, resil 20... sure thing :D
themInterwebs: Personally, the drip feed has made me disconnect from WoW outside M and raid. I just don’t care anymore about visions, duos, the belt, etc. it’s freeing in a way
groovydude4511: I would HATE more turbo boosts. I like there being an endpoint in the season where my gear isn’t going to get much better. I want to be raid-logging eventually without feeling like I am sandbagging my guild for not putting in enough time between raid nights.
kogure7235: You know, I was thinking about it for a while, and maybe the problem with timegating is actually them still announcing all this content and then not releasing all of it? If they announced and immediately dropped a new feature every 2-3 weeks it wouldn't feel like we have to wait for it for ages. They need to change the perception from few big patches with timegated content to many small patches.
Dmactyjc133: my cook is to uncap crests at season start, but unlock gear upgrade levels each week. So you aren't punished for front loading your gameplay or doing a little bit each week
bneva123: i don't care about pushing keys, but as a late CE raider I love the turbo boost. I still feel like I progressed a boss, but my pull count is probably cut in half or at least 2/3 of what it originally would've been. I can understand why some people dislike it, like by the time it came out people have been raid logging for a while and now they had to suddenly run a bunch of keys. But now we will probably kill Gallywix this week, and be able to farm the raid until next tier and get people mounts.
As far as seasonal approach goes, I would rather there always be something to do (like in Legion, BFA etc).
ZKrinny: I still can’t see their reasoning with dinar if they made it require a heroic kill instead of a mythic to get the mythic piece because then people do heroic raid still replace the mythic trinket with the next tier heroic trinket. Honestly, the system is OK for everybody except for heroic only Raiders. They’re the ones who really got screwed. I raid in a mythic a guild and a heroic guild and nobody in the heroic guild really needed anything other than a Jaster. We had gotten everything else by that point
ChazberryMK: I am a 3300 top 500 seasonal pug player and I haven’t done a dungeon for 2 weeks because I was just waiting for the belt to want to play again. The visions power gain was probably enough for the next key level but why would I even try it when I can just do it for free with the belt and the helmet enchant? All the timegateing has led to me just not logging in. The visions should’ve dropped without timegating and maybe I would’ve spammed keys before the greater enchants were available. All of the late season power gains timegated along with the dinars not letting me get mythic level one arm gear even though I’m 5/8M without a guild is bad. I feel like the people that would still be grinding late season are people like me and the systems implemented make me not care about the season entirely. Chalk it up boys, season 3 can’t come soon enough. While we’re at it, get rid of the braindead mythic raid lockout. Let’s be inclusive on our toxic ass endgame baby blizz! I believe in you. Also, fuck pvp
SwordsPass: About the OmniCD talk. I don’t really follow why you would take off kick tracking even as a disc priest. Growl’s example is that it is very specific that no one has a kick in his party, but that happens often enough in PUGs. DPS overlap theirs, and it absolutely changes whether or not you are dropping an external.
A volley isn’t going to kill a geared player in one shot from full in a low key, but as mentioned by the POD boys, the players in those keys aren’t going to be at full health. They’ll be standing in stuff and because their gear is only going to be as good as the content they are trying to push they won’t have the stamina myth track gear gives you.
If I see a warrior rallying cry for the party or a shaman ancestral shift I know for the rest of the dungeon that those are the players I have to worry about last if for some reason we all drop low. They’ll do what it takes to live compared to someone who I never see use a defensive the whole dungeon.
As someone who only pugs a few keys a week having just that single piece of information is worth everything. I’m trying to keep my completion percentage as high as possible. Taking away kick and party cooldown tracking is a bad blizzard take.
UnicornHunterD: As a casual player I can not relate to the no content. I hadn't played in nearly 3 weeks then played this last week and there is a ton of new stuff on top of all the other great stuff to do. Visions had come out, dastardly duos, and new delves feature next week. I did some m last week and enjoyed it. There was the weekly quest for pvp so I did some of that. There is so much to do in the game its impossible to do it all. The average player and the vocal minority content creator that plays 24/7 could not be any more different.
goodthings7317: I’ve played since vanilla and i HATE the seasonal aspect of the current state of the game.
Ajatus11: gm peat gm squishei gm tettleton
Sovyu: I found the turbo boost honestly kinda annoying. Felt like I got to the end of this season’s prog with myth gear all upgraded and then suddenly I had to do a shit load of dungeons to get back to myth cap. Usually I like I mess around with alts once we’re done with raid, but now it’s like 100 miles to get alts geared to the same level in order to have some myth raid fun on alts. Cos it’s a looooong route to gear after normal geared alts, it’s like a 1000 gilded crests for all myth upgrades.
pockets111222333: Growl W. Man of the healers. Eye of kezan turns people into savages.
VividVoid: Good, I like it being seasonal. I don't get the people who only want to play WoW all the time. :^)
rawrCES: yall are hela undertakling the ability to customize like WE want to.
Tainted0ne1138: Extra bloodlust as a late renown track reward would be such a good renown reward.
kriva5887: nah growl is valid with that kezan take
WMyths: My problem is that i have 2 myth track rings in my bags but have to wear hero jastor and circi circlet instead. It feels bad to have my current highest ilvl gear to be invalidated by lower gear. That's a tuning problem.
MICOfficial1: I think threat should just the gutted, tanks role is to get threat and it shouldn’t feel like 10 jobs at once while aoe capped, while trying to stay alive and not jank the route. As a healer its frustrating to have a death cause a dps crit his ass off and got threat from one mob out of the 10.
jonathantremblay79: Kezan wait for no one!
chiefputty: The turbo boost 6 ilvl increase needs to be incorporated into the gearing right from the start. They can uncap crests and add a cyrce's circlet or disc belt midseason if need be. But the 6 ilvl increase to heroic and mythic gear restored the standard 13 ilvl difference between tiers. To illustrate: Before turbo boost LFR 645, Normal 658 13, Heroic 665 7 (?), Mythic 678 13. After turbo boost LFR 645, Normal 658 13, Heroic 671 13, Mythic 684 13
WindspielArt: to the point of why people invite Meta I want to say that in my keys (mid tier, 15-16ish right now, but as Holy Priest) we have better experience with off meta players then with meta. most often off meta with that score (around 3.3k) at least know how to press their keys and what to interrupt etc. with meta you don't know if they brute forced their score because they got invited so much that once in a while they got carried (and yes we had people in our keys that felt they were completely boosted...) so yeah we like non meta classes :D
