juliovictormanuelschaeffer8370: I was hooked to the history with the Lich King arc. I wanted to know more about this world, its factions, and everything else. Then, it lost me after Pandaria, and when I checked out the new storyline, the Titans being suddenly baddies and Garrosh's time-travel somehow not destroying the current timeline, my head spinned like a disco ball.

Some years later, when I asked people how the story was going, they told me the same shit that happened with the MCU: girlbosses, the story making less and less sense, Blizzard censoring or altering many parts of the game because they were "problematic", the lack of urgency... it left a bitter taste in my mouth.

And now? We had THAT cutscene with the karen and the generic black female we see IN EVERYTHING today. How could you fail at that, and sink to such a level?!

KingEirik7: Ion Hazzikostas is the biggest failure that happened to wow. The game has been kinda shit every since he started working there.

Kaysumi: I had not played retail since BFA and a friend of mine baited me into trying out TWW. So I buy it, install it and start a brand new character and start leveling through Dragonflight, within an hour I was confronted with homosexual relationships and service dogs for the disabled. Immediately uninstalled and went back to playing classic and told that friend never to bother me with retail ever again. Retail is woke garbage to the extreme.

KendaricV: Dragonflight was a horrible expansion in regards to quest and story writing, probably equal to Shadowlands. Parts of "The War Within" are mostly good (Dornogal/Isle of Dorn), while others were downright horrible. Character writing in TWW is largely horrible though and reeks far too much of activism, especially their DEI icon Faerin Lothar.

WOTLK was peak. Panada was UNDERRATED, but the ending was terrible (the scar). Legion ... was good?, but endless artifact grind was terribe. Mage tower needed to be a pre-built character/class affected by nothing from the outside or game changes: Everyone earning it at the same difficulty as day one.
