keithb5434: Love the series. I discovered you after the OSRS series. I am glad you are enjoying the game I have been playing for over 20 years. I would watch your content if you looked at wiki. Being able to take a long break knowing you will be able to come back and know that you wont be obsolete is really an amazing feature of OSRS.

The Dev team really cares about the game and the world. With out them the game would not exist, It is a passion project for most of them. They actually listen to the player base which is rare in a world where most games focus on profits and not the game.

DrakeCross92: I will say your series on OSRS has motivated me to play Runescape more both RS3 and Old School. Considering I'm max leveled in RS3, it is fun doing all th bossing and collecting challenges.

Also while related to RS3, the quets lines have become quite amazing narrative wise. While Guthix Sleeps, Sliske End Game and Extinction are truly great quests that have acutal choices and challenges to it.

That's because you can legit step right back into OSRS, and pick up right where you left off. You're not punished for missing a patch. You're not incentivized to push through burnout. Life happens, people need breaks, and this gameplay style allows for that.

RS3 began going down that vertical path, and it destroyed the game. Limited time double experience events, daily quests, power scaling... it was the death of RuneScape. But I'm glad they realized they already had a winning formula previously, listened to the community, and brought that game back. I just got back into OSRS with sailing. Quit for probably 3-4 years before that. It felt like putting on an old jacket, and being so happy it fit perfectly still. I don't have to catch up. No re-learning anything. Didn't feel out of place. Just right back in it. That's really hard to beat.
