Shopping CartNobbel87: Ha I also took a break from classic into Burning Crusade caus my hard earned epics were being replaced by shitty greens. Think classic realms might be your jam!
msscott22: The true endgame is collecting mounts and transmogs.
biglink13: You should try classic. But I understand that was not your jam. It was fun while we had you. Good luck man
Tange899: Can't believe that some people seen a new player who litterally don't know what is an interrupt and instead of being amazed and helpfull explaining it inviting you on a discord to teach you, they just remove you from the group, what a shame.
low_imagination: Man, I really loved your videos and was so sad when you stopped. Glad to hear that you will do new videos tho :)
erichall090909: Guilds are the social aspect of wow at this point in the game. But I’m sorry the game didn’t mesh with you. Not for everyone. Glad you enjoyed your time!
Sienna_Noir: The new player experience for WoW is ABYSMAL. I wish they had like, a way to level you through each of the expansions in a way that tells the story to catch you up with the lore rather than get the max level the fastest.
Nerfthecat: try guild wars 2. i think youd love it . its comepletely different than wow
Nightstalker314: Regarding "replacing your gear". That problem will never be solved. Otherwise, you'd have to hit a certain ceiling in every older or newer iteration of the game. There is always the endless talk about horizontal progression. But what would that mean? Never replace your gear and still have a reason to collect new stuff? Get new types of itemization for really specific encounters? There will be a best in slot at any point in time. And if new gear is implemented, it is either useless or a choice for some situation. You either flood the game with encounters and mandatory gear just for their design or it will never happen. And then you'd need endless bags to store all those items. Or there is never any new gear. Just arbitrarily set at some point during the development. And guess why most people play? To get new gear. At some point, it ends up being transmog, but that's it. The game can't be stuck at Tier 1 in Molten Core forever. Once Blackwing Lair came out, a lot of players replaced their Tier 1 with Tier 2.
crash045: I feel you man, the drift from exploration to efficiency really made the difference in the social aspect of the game
I joined around the same time too and ended up going back playing classic where the community is a lot more friendly and talks to you a lot more as well
clarkamamangpang2032: time to get to Guild Wars 2!!!
Dr_Probe: New Roox video dropped, what a great day
thanganbabp5570: check out Guild Wars 2 if you want content and your gear to not go bad.
TheInkyBlackDot: Yep. If I don't like the look of my tier set for a season, I just won't do it. Not because I dislike the game, but because the pursuit doesn't serve me.
jakubkotowicz638: People will be saying some of the issues you mentioned are none-existant in classic, but to be honest that's long gone, people rush to the endgame even faster, there is less patience for new people, and boosting, paying to skip content is so prevelent between players honestly you'd be suprised how fast leveling zones die in classic (allthough still bigger traffic than in retail), the point i am trying to make, the best you can do, since you already had community try finding firends and tighter group of folks who you can play wow on the regullar, enjoy, just to goof around, raid, do dungeons, stuff like that, if you find the constant progression reset discurraging then, while understandable, it's kinda unavoidable, game doesn't offer nothing else to make you maintain your sub. But in the end it was nice seing you enjoy some parts of wow, discovering the game, and generally have a good time, hope game will be better in a future for you to come back.
snowyday3: good to see you back
lucifax001: Yeah, you pretty much nailed it. Wow was great back in the days. but every expansion takes that original experience further and further away from what most of us fell in love with. I couldnt even imagine jumping into retail without prior game experience/knowledge. It would be overwhelming, yet bland. i tried going back leveling, but the questlines and zones have changed multiple times since, and you wont ever feel any challenge since the quests are just easy and boring.
I got into the m and mythic raiding gamestyle, and after that i just felt like everything else kinda lost its meaning. there ol days of searching for people in chat was replaced with a "reject anything not meta" lfg system and there suddenly was no need for being social. when the m was done, you would probably never see any of those players again, and there was no "damn, we actually had fun" moments, where you reach out to those guys you previously grouped up with (of course there is friends/guildies and so on)
classic wow can be a rather nostalgic hit tho. and for someone who wants to experience that "new" wow experience, i would highly suggest giving that a go.
BasegFarmer: Come play GW2!
Its so different from everything else especially gear wise that can be hard for battle hardened mmo vets.
But once you get over it, its awesome!
JackTheLumberMan: If player interraction is what you're looking for then I recommend another game than WoW. You can join the GW2 community as the points you made in your video are actually solved in that mmo. You can start as a free account and if you like it you can buy the Expansions/DLC.
Bonne continuation ! :)
dracodragon570: Honestly I totally understand all you points this is why I must recommend playing classic because it gets rid of every issue you have had so far. Increased player interaction, more difficult gameplay throughout all zones not just the newest one, and no tmog grinding end game. Most importantly you do not have to constantly replace gear because the expansions last much longer than retail.
bbx78: Jo Roox, i feel you. Im the type of person that plays wow no matter what content there is, but i feel like you should give wow another chance. I am a solo player mainly and i rarely interact with other players but The War Within introduced these Delves which is like a solo or a group scenarios dungeons that change every week and this was the perfect type of content for me that i could grind till max ilvl and enjoy it freely. I play solo mainly because i am not a pro player and i hate the judging and requirements other players make. Whenever you decide to come back to wow i'll be here to watch your journey. But right now it would be a pretty bad idea to start playing wow, unless you want to try Legion Remix event which makes Legion Expansion an end game expansion so that you can re-experciene all anew or try it for the first time if you have not palyed it before. If not, i would wait till Midnight launch or at least a pre=patch. Thank you can cya :D
YoSomePerson: This loosing progress is the reason for ~55% of players that quit.
And years later you can't really catch up again with all the content.
Gadzookss: The main reason why not many people talk is that most of the time theres always that 1 karen who has to ruin it for everyone, report u for a stupid thing and blizzard takes it as malicious and you either get suspended or banned.. they dont have humans looking at the tickets..
sonicmarsh232: Classic or Gw2, these games have social interaction and nothing is wasted
justinlyon7472: Hey Roox, you should play Tetris now, you need to regain the brain cells you lost playing WoW
