TV22011980: I think the problem with Sylvanas (yes, I loved her as the Banshee Queen) is that most of us Forsaken were hoping that she'd get a similar redemption arc like her StarCraft counterpart Kerrigan (corrupted into a form both didn't really want, kinda redeemed themselves in the sequels/expensions, etc). Her rise to Warchief seemed to hint at it at first, pushing her into the realm of anti-hero, but then Blizzard did a full 180 on her and made her a villian with highly confusing motivation instead.

The other thing both characters suffer is peace seeking characters are not good in the Warcraft universe. Only good one was old Thrall, who wanted peace but wouldn't be a push over. Now he's character assassinated.

Lore wise the dude is like superman, he almost drowned an entire army as a newbie during the War of the Ancients out of anger... Power wise when it comes to lore he would make player characters obsolete so I can see why any time things go south they sideline him as being asleep. Still think its weird he wasnt involved in the emerald dream at all.

Fradth: Seeing what Sylvanas has become really was painful. And for that i hate the jailer for what he did to our queen.

I remember listening 2h storyline about Sylvanas to justify why she followed the jailer, i said at end "Okay it is logic" then i remembered everything i saw with my own eyes and corrected "Wait, to free us all from the schackles of fate she followed the orders of a stupid arch-tyrant which never hide his desire to enslave everyone in each of his acts and even his name howl Tyrant...she is blonde?"

A complex lore to justify stupid acts.

That was so stupid, so anticlimatic i stopped playing forsaken after 15 years as a forsaken. Some people hate wod, other hate BFA. Me...i really...really hate Shadowlands expansion.
