Shopping Cartdemneoza25094: Imagine having private betting system alongside pvp pits, players signing contracts and wagering with each other, would be the coolest thing in the whole game, making it simply player-to-player would eliminate any possible chances of match fixing 7:09
Red-wb5jj: There are things that are nice to have, but not as important as other things. So let me try to sort them from important to unimportant.
1. More options to build your character. Choosing character abilities more flexibly, being able to pick between more spells, and more ways to customize each spell individually. (Model: Path of Exile 2)
2. Make professions freer and more rewarding. Give professions more use. Being able to craft better gear, produce more useful potions, create problems in the world that professions are the answer to — like repairing armor with materials instead of gold (maybe even let gear break permanently if you don't take care of it), gathering high-level herbs, ore or animal leather without the necessary skill causes debuffs and other problems that professions like potion brewing can help you with. A plant poisons you, ore takes up much more bag space, is impure and can only be purified with the right skill, which also makes it take up less bag space. Etc. — there's plenty of room to get creative here. It also encourages player interaction when you're more dependent on professions, where people can't do every profession — not because of restrictions, but because of consequences that on the whole do more harm than good.
3. Instances can be randomized more by the group leader via buttons and sliders. Mobs stand in different spots, different types of mobs get placed, bosses have additional abilities, the instance is laid out slightly differently, etc. (Increases replay value, and whoever wants to play the original version simply doesn't set anything.)
4. Randomly or semi-randomly placed hidden spots appear in the world and in instances, where you can find enemies, chests and other loot, rewarding you for exploring the world. Semi-random means there are a great many predefined positions in the world where hidden spots randomly appear. There's a maximum number of hidden spots that may exist in the world at the same time, but many more points where they can show up. And the type of hideout, as well as the type of entrance, the type of mobs inside — or no mobs — and the type of loot inside is random. That way a hidden spot always feels new and enormously increases replay value and the joy of discovering the world. It's already a little like that with chests, but this concept expanded.
5. Challenging mobs. Mobs should force you to adapt more. The same skill rotation must not work on 10 different mobs. Mobs need more abilities with stronger effects that also force you now and then to look for the right kind of help. For example, mobs can become immune to melee, ranged, all damage types, etc. In general, more attributes and more damage and armor types are needed to make this variety of challenges possible. Resistances and damage bonuses for all armor classes are necessary (cloth, leather, heavy armor, plate). Mobs should also more often have immunity to fire, frost, shadow, nature, etc., so players are forced to set themselves up more broadly or seek help. (Because we want more reasons to play together, not fewer.) Mobs you can mindlessly smack down solo can still exist, but more like a distribution instead of 1:99. The leveling phase should take longer, not shorter.
6. More varied, atmospheric zones — through the type of zone itself, but also through better weather effects, better lighting effects, atmospheric sounds and music, day/night cycle, detailed textures, more interesting objects, etc.
7. Build in more reasons to go back to old zones at higher levels, and generally tailor zones less to a single level range. Applies to mobs just as much as to professions, items, etc.
8. Rework the economy so that it's worth traveling to a place, farming something there, and selling it to a vendor on the other side of the world for significantly more gold. Vendors adjust their buy and sell prices based on what gets bought and sold with them and how much. Makes farming more interesting and rewards players for clever traveling and gathering.
9. Better graphics. More detail, better lighting effects, more movement in the landscape, swaying grass, blowing treetops and leaves, etc.
10. More options to customize your character's appearance. More hairstyles, detailed faces, more gear that looks different. Maybe being able to change the color of certain parts of your gear, etc. (No transmogs!) It still has to be recognizable roughly what someone is wearing.
11. Nothing may ever devalue items. No expansion, no patch, etc. may make previously farmed things worthless. Develop in breadth instead of in depth. More choice instead of better/higher-level items.
helzog100: I think conquest of Azeroth nailed mix that with SOD...it would be amazing
Swolbafett: They have a cage in Gadget… neutral city, maybe a good use as a duel location ️
crocrox2273: entire generation is waiting for classic plus, i hope we dont get disapointed
landofsyn2980: High elf > naga... All day and every day. You say to many monsters and then say naga lol.
mikelovebx: please god let us have 10 mans back with good loot.
nemek2082: My top 3:
- Classes updates : New Specs/Classes ie; Lock/Shaman Tank, Mage healer etc. SoD had some good ideas to get inspired by. Need more variety imo
Updates to current classes to give them something new / Fixing glaring problems for certain classes.
- Achievements.
- Better professions : Making them more a part of the game, maybe adding more professions. Overall making it more fun, impactful and developed than it is now.
- My honorable mention : Different modes ie; hardcore, ssf etc. - My biggest one being a groups ironman akin to OSRS
TestChannelWow-bh7ys: All of these changes you are describing sound terrible
currentspw: Refreshing to watch a classic plus vid with positivity and grounded takes
shawnoreilly4917: Been wanting a Mol'Nathal race since the OG BC
rorytheright5003: Challenge modes: Hardcore, Explorer (50% less xp from all sources), SSF (No post, trading or AH), SSFHC, DuoHC, TrioHC, Daily Dungeon Lock (1 run per dungeon daily until 60), Guild Found (trade only with Guild members) and more. All selectable in start area.
Improved Professions. Epoch had far better professions and didn't even have to add many more patterns/recipes, gathered or crafted items into the game showing how bare bones and lacking the existing Profs are.
Commission quests: Another Epoch feature that enhanced the professions and added a little extra incentive to explore every corner of the world.
Gadgetzan 1v1 & 2v2 Duel Arena. A sandstorm blows periodically that breaks stealth.
Gurubashi 3v3 & 5v5 Duel Arena. A Dungeon Boss scaled Elite (Strangelthorn themed - Ogre, Tiger, Gorilla, Goblin Mech or Troll Chief) spawns at a random time in the 1st minute from one of the gates that attacks the closest player. All have a different mechanic and will need to be Tanked, CC'd or killed whilst still dealing with the opposition.
But the most important addition - Real GMs! Actively dealing with bots and RMTs and then announce in chat channels when they have issued bans. Private servers do it and the players love to see it. This would be the biggest PR win for Blizzard.
MrSaiboo: It mostly needs 1000% new fishing content
mirceabusuioceanu: Just make transmog optional.
It's the best compromise to bring everyone together.
Your transmog should always be visible to you, but you can turn of everyone else's transmog.
oland138: I think limited transmog should exist. If they make 5pc bonus the max, you should have the option to transmog to the full set if you have the bonus active.
AteoTx: I want to see Classic Plus in Unreal Engine. The End
kingshadowpro8280: nah she said runes hell nah kill the runes
ignacarda: Agreed to everything, except transmog hahaha! I'm a big sucker for transmog. It was so annoying to have your BiS items be 4/5 of a set, and then your shoulders would be something completely different to the rest of the set . It's a minor evil for all the fun transmog is. Not to mention it opens up a lot of opportunities for keeping old content relevant. Transmog is a great excuse for geared players to go back to older raids and give newbies a hand in exchange for a transmog item.
troglo8ytes: Ogre!
oliverchristensen5108: Its not about what we need to have. Its about what we dont need to have and that is simple. Bots... Blizz will not fix this so pservers will always be the way #boycutblizz
xFuN17: I believe 40-man raids are important for the health of the game. They create a need for large, active guilds that can do daily activities together, like running dungeons, helping each other with professions, and, most importantly, giving people more opportunities to make new friends.
PoobliusFlavius: I wish they would make His and Hers wow....the OG development team was almost all male. After the farcical fruitbowl gate I would wager its mostly people who do not identify with their original hair color doing it. All they have to do is finish what the creators were not able to with care for the original aesthetic.
Verdigast: 2:26 more races, more customization options in existing races, more specs and maybe even more classes.
MemberBerry-cu9qi: friend groups are usually 0-2 people strong.
Bliz would need to reform connections. Reduce phasing, remove mega servers, more 2-3 player PVE content, Rift's Adventure mode where you get put in groups for open world group content which gives rewards regardless if you need it, definitely more drop-in/out open world pve content which daily missions that rewards you for participating in them more low level group content, but offer enough quests to make them optional.
redo crafting. It feels like 1 out of 50 levels has something that can be used. There should be something for all classes and most levels and less things conflicting and more overlapping. Let me put every crafter's buff on the same piece of gear so one doesn't completely outshine another.
more guild challenges and rewards.
less soulbound stuff. Let me get exalted with factions and sell rewards to those who don't wish to grind that out. Maybe give me an exclusive color and a tradeable version.
there's so much they can do to get the community involved
Cladrius: I’m all for classic ! And i know Nagas was on the map way back. But i mean it Will be so wierd to have a snake-y riding a mount ? And armour will look wierd? How Will they look when flying on a flight path? It will just look silly, like retail silly in my opinion.
TTVGENE29: I agree with Thor bring back class identity
SeanChandlerSF: has to have a hardcore self found mode or I'm staying where I am on Doomhowl
